My community is being evacuated as the Missouri River is going to reach record flood levels. Need some prayers sent our way, I spent memorial day sand-bagging and moving stuff from my in-laws basement. My home should be okay but thousands more including friends and family may be displaced for several months. Dakota Dunes and my home which has an awesome Arnold Palmer designed golf course and 1200 homes are all in significant danger. The national guard, prisoners, volunteers have been working hard to build up the levees, so hopefully they hold. This is just crazy and like a bad dream.

Only gonna get worse my man, my family's farm on the Missouri just east of Glasgow flooded today and the dam is gonna increase it's output to 150,000 CFS and it's just gonna keep piling up in Bismarck and South Dakota. Where I'm at the Yellowstone crested a few days ago and has been dropping since. I wish you luck!

Lots of friends and family that are having to leave around that area. Even East River, things are getting pretty crappy in SD. The James River was pretty much overflowing our town bridge when I went to visit a few weekends ago. Craziness. So much rain latetly.

Prayers for all Dakotans.

We're God's people!

Good luck guys (and girls if Sassy is in trouble). Not even sure if keeping stuff in the attic would help some communities. Seems to be a problem in some areas for a few years now as towns were abandoned when the water kept coming closer.

Fargo/Moorhead is fine. We's all good boi.

The Red River is what causes us problems, and it's been good for a while now.

Bismark and areas on the Missouri in the middle of the state are getting torn up.

Stay Safe. That flooding is crazy.

...and here in the southwest we're in a drought. Wish we could get some of that water somehow piped over here. You could replenish Lake Mead overnight.

Southwest uses and abuses everything regarding to water. Poor managers of resources. Need more waterparks and fountains!?

Why yes I do need another fountain in my front yard. Don't we all? And the waterpark in my backyard needs expanding for my summer baptisms. You know us all so well. Good job. Keep that good karma flowing :)

I wish you all the luck man. I live right on the Mississippi, and every year for about a week we always get flooded out

No, Sioux City is in Iowa. It's south of Sioux Falls.

Epic Floods, Tornados, Earthquakes, Wild fires, what the hell is going on???

It's approaching Biblical proportions.

May Nature be kind to you...

I actually know a lot about resource inefficiency in the Southwest. It's quite unfortunate, but you reap what you sow. Not necessarily the "people's" fault, but those running the show are morons, no doubt.
