View Full Version : What were you drinking last night......

Raidersbane

For me it was Pikesville Rye. The Aristocrat of Whiskeys aged an entire 3 years. I admit its a departure from my usuals such as Oban, or Black Bush but my buddy Wil and I just wanted to try something different with cigars (La Flor Dominicanas) last night. The crazy woman that was with me wiped out entire bottles of Ravenswood Chardonnay, Jadot Pouilly Fuiesse, and J.Lohr Cabernet.
Results were he has an all day hangover I feel fine, and crazy drunk girl had to be carried back to her place and tucked into bed.

lmao, there are some tribes that think if you drink your enemies blood after a battle, it makes you stronger and more fertile.

Also, it taste like chicken.

Mrs. Bean made a pitcher of peach ice tea last night. Never had it before, so I had a few glasses. Not bad.

Tonight will be my own bodyweight in whatever light beer I've got in the fridge. Stanley Cup Final Game One baby!

I did that on Saturday, apparently. Hit a pool party with the gf and friends and brought a case.

Drank a bunch but then woke up on her couch and she's bringing me Thai food. Then she hit the shower and I mentioned that I'd take one after her, but apparently I had already showered... could've sworn I only drank 8ish beers but I guess I drank the entire case myself along with shots and blacked out for hours until later that evening.

I've got to go with the Bs in 6......although if that happens, I'll be a lot poorer because there's no way I'm going to miss a potential cup clinching game in Boston. Tix are absolutely ridiculous though.

I actually had peach tea last night as well...though it wasn't home made. Safeway is having a sale on all turkey hill products, 1/2 gallon was like a buck twenty nine. Slowly working my way through their flavors.

Not for everyone I suppose. You definitely need a handle or two somewhere (if you've only got a curtain) for safety purposes...but overall a very wonderful place to knock boots.

You'd expect a lot from a bottle of beer costing $765. What you get is 55 percent alcohol and served in a squirrel.

Who the **** has a multiple shower-head bath?...

I do. Lot's of people do.

It cost less than $100 to change from a regular single head to a double. Did it in the middle of a bathroom remodel a few years ago. Now I have two shower heads about two feet apart coming down from the ceiling. It's awesome.

Makes a bit more sense now. Simple plumbing issue.

Guess these vast leaps forward in technology haven't hit Jefferson City yet.

I prefer a car wash approach to a shower. Rain showerhead from the ceiling, body spray heads vertically and multiple traditional shower heads.....all run by a remote, capable of pulsating to the piped in music\light show...enclosed to allow a steam bath....then a full body dryer as you step out.

Its amazing what showers can do these days.

I immediately thought of this:

Someday, I'll have a nice shower again. When our family built our house up in Grand Lake, the master bath was SO nice for showering. It had two heads (one in each corner...the whole are was about 50 sq ft) angling down, that were both removable. Then, it had three separate nozzles running up one wall that you could aim anywhere. Top it off with a temperature dial (not digital, just a knob) and a bench, and you have shower heaven. AND, there was a two person jet tub right outside. Those were the good ol days.

We really won't be a truly advanced civilization until we install something like this in every home in America.

Baja, in all seriousness what does your house look like?

This was a friends place outside of Healdsburg CA I lived on the 40 acres with him and his wife. I had an Airstream trailer. I had my spot on a hill top and beside the trailer was two redwoods, one had been hit by lightening an burnt. Just the base was left standing about twenty feet in the air. The center had burnt out. I had a wire brush on a drill and cleaned off all the burnt charcoal reveling beautiful redwood. I poured a cement floor with drain (tree was on a hillside) I bought an on demand hot water heater and a couple of huge shower heads. Awesome shower!
