Reggie is apparently reacting poorly to the Ingram pick. That's a really surprising take from this guy:

"It's been fun New Orleans. "

He has always been a front-running jackass.

Get the facts before typing... Bush and the Saints have been at odds since the season ended. Bush is due over $11,000,000.00 in salary and bonus for the 2011 season and is unwilling to take a paycut/restructure. He has said since February that it is unlikely that he would return to New Orleans. The drafting of Ingram just confirmed it.

Why would they be stupid enough to play a situational scat back punt returner 11 mil?

exactly my point.... He was gone before tonight, picking Ingram had nothing to do with it.

If he's leaving because he wont get 11 mil he's crazy. Nobody's going to give him that.

Let me try this again

New Orleans asked him to take a pay cut because they are not going to pay him over 11 million for next year, his constant injuries and lack of #2 pick production do not make him worth it to the management of the Saints. Reggie said he will NOT take a pay cut, hence he said back in February that he was as good as gone.

as you know, it does not matter what the world thinks with these guys, they think they are better than the rest and worth every penny they get. Bush is in for a rude awakening.

Bush has been in for a rude awakening for a long time.

Would he be worth the Vet minimum?

I think his Dad wants an upgrade home in San Diego. You can't get one at the Vet minimum. Yes, I am a bitter USC fan seeing someone who gave a rat's ass about his school as it hits probation for his actions.

bring him in. we could use a speedy 3rd down back and return guy. keeps Decker, Thomas and Eddie from having to do those anymore.

I think some of these guys get confused by their fame and mix it up for their value on the field.

Maybe he was talking about how the Hornets lost in the NBA playoffs?

I'd love to see Bush "come home" and replace Sproles for the Chargers. And while he's certainly not worth 11 million a year, he's worth more than the vet minimum.

I said when the Saints drafted him what a mistake that was.. the Texans knew what they were doing when everyone else was questioning them about passing on him.. .. this kid was never worthy of the money or slot he was picked at... worthless pick

I'd still take him here in Atlanta if the price was right. Julio and Bush added to our offense...look out.

Yep, I said the same thing and was so proud of Kubiak for doing the right thing. Bush was another overly overhyped draft picks. Be a crybaby and threaten to leave, the Saints would be morons to pay him more than 3 mil. Anybody would.

Ingram is going to be twice the back moreno that could ever be. really moreno shouldn't have even been drafted in the first round.

This. I get it's fun to hate on certain guys, but while he's not worth the money he's set to make, he does have talent and can add value to a football team, IMO.

I'm not even saying I want the Broncos to sign him, since we have so many other holes. But he will hook on somewhere and will help a team.

And for the record, who here would openly take a paycut? I wouldn't. Again, his value may not be $11 million, but I'm not ripping up that contract either if I was in his spot.
