I love the kid. He's got tons of talent and natural ability. He's a little raw, but worth a mid round pick imo, especially if we don't go miller.

I apologize for no links etc, comp died so posting from blackberry just trying to get some conversation going on him

One of the guys I want them to take in the third.

My 3rd round priority:

1. The BPA that's fallen a round+ for whatever reason (...and it always happens)
2. Gilchrist
3. Moch

I would love him in the 3rd, but I have a feeling he gets nabbed in the 2nd by someone intrigued with his upside

If he had as much talent and natural ability as you think he would be picked in the first round...Funny, no one has even said such good things about Marcel Dareus and 1/2 the posters here want him at #2 overall.

I could see the Raiders taking him for his speed alone. :giggle:

I'm OK with Moch as our second #2 pick, but not before then.

Love the guy, think he can be an all-pro in the right scheme with the right coaches (but do we have that? Not sure yet).

Mock is probably going to go between #46 and #67.

I'm guessing #46 is a pick the Broncos will dangle in a trade down, move a bit down in that round, pick up a fourth and still get one of their targets.

#2 -- Von Miller, LB
#36 -- Stephen Paea, DT
2nd (Trade Down) -- Jabaal Sheard, DE or Dontay Moch, DE -- (Moch is undersized, but I'd see him like an Everette Brown type player, like Sheard -- in a Fox defense).
#67 -- Mason Foster, LB
Fourth -- Jaiqawn Jarrett, S

SLB/Joker player -- Check.
DT on the interior who can play nose or 3 -- Check.
Pass rush help -- Check
ILB so Williams can go to WLB -- Check
Safety help -- Check.

Just one scenario.

I think Denver would only take Moch if they passed on Miller in the 1st. They both project as the same type of player. Similar size and speed tweener types who played DE/Joker in college but would probably play SLB/pass-rush specialist in our 4-3.

You're probably right. Maybe you could think of another true DL player there.

I still think Sheard can play DE for the team at that selection. Don't think Bailey would be there. Not sure Ballard is even on our board due to his positive marijuana test.

Considering Hunter was just stabbed, and that Dumervil is coming off injury, I don't see the problem of adding two more rushers to the team in this draft, plus -- we're devoid of them anyways.

In that scenario above:

We come out with a completely new LB corps, positions with prospects who can make impacts right away.

Paea, who is a first-round talent who starts immediately at DT and plays either the nose or 3 and is an immediate upgrade over anyone we have.

Jarrett learns for year behind Dawkins and other veterans, being used on special teams and coming in on different packages occasionally, sort of like McBath did as a rookie.

Sheard and Moch get in as specialists as well.

Maybe the value for Moch or Sheard is off, and we switch that to an offensive player.

They want four starters, and I'm just not sure Sheard or Moch are from Day 1.

Do you mean Water Moch? I don't think that he's available.

You're wrong for that.... but ironically, I think that Mock would have found it funny... R.I.P.
