View Full Version : Anyone Watch Syracuse Football?

I was just looking over some of the mid-round prospects, seeing who might make a possible impact. I want the Broncos to use at least their first 3 picks on defense, but if there is value in rounds 3-5, taking an offensive player wouldn't piss me off too much.

So, I saw this kid named Delone Carter from Syracuse, and wondered if anyone watched him play. I love the Ray Rice / MJD style of small power back that can run you over, or make a quick cut and pop out of the pile. He seems like that type of player, but i've never heard his name before.

Anyone watched this kid play?

Here is a link to his youtube highlights, sorry about the music...

3 College football HOF RBs 2 of which went on to the NFL HOF including argueably the greatest RB of all time came out of Syracuse.

Only problem is that it is not the 60's and Schwartzwalder is no longer the HC.

I'm glad you agree with me then.

Carter is a sleeper who is rising up draft boards. I would not mind at all if Denver was able to pick up a 5th rounder and snag him.

Maybe Brown came out in the late 50's but he was followed by the Express, Ernie Davis before Floyd came to Syracuse in the 60's.

Freeney, Marvin 'Banger' Harrison wnet there and the ever pathetic McNabb went there.
