San Diego Chargers -- 2011 NFL Draft

18. Muhammed Wilkerson, DL -- Temple
31. Brandon Harris, CB -- Miami
61. Leonard Hankerson, WR -- Miami
94. Robert Sands, S -- West Virginia
201. Dwayne Harris, WR -- East Carolina
208. Mario Addison, OLB -- Troy
234. Jamie Harper, RB -- Clemson

Extremely pleased with this draft. Feel the first four selections can all be immediate contributors. Harris could be a surprise, but will help out on special teams and W-O sub packages. Addison can compete for time on ST as he is raw, and Harper is a sleeper RB prospect who could be in the mix with Matthews if he continues to have injury problems.

Very happy with my draft. Solder was a no brainer at 19 and I think Foster will be a monster behind the front 7 of NY. Moffit gives them versatility in the center of their line and I think all 3 of my 6th rounds picks have what it takes to make an impact at the next level.

1-16(16) - Atlanta: Akeem Ayers, LB, UCLA
3-16(80) - Atlanta: Jarvis Jenkins, DE/DT, Clemson
4-13(111) - Atlanta: Da’Norris Searcy, SS North Carolina
6-21(186) - Atlanta (from Philadelphia): Cheta Ozougwu, DE/OLB, Rice

7-54(255) - Atlanta: Bruce Miller, DE/OLB, Central Florida

You never know how the guys are going to turn out but I felt Atlanta had the pieces in place already for their offense and it's their defense that needed some attention if they were going to go deeper in the playoffs next year.

+216/13=16.61+ per pick.... This was a very good draft for me, would have been even better if Carter didnt fall as far as he did. The Steelers got a steal with him.

Kudos for the Chris Prosinski pick in the UDFA round -- you outbid several of us for him, and absolutely nailed it.... will be curious to see how he does once the season starts....

The best values in this draft were safeties. I got 2 second rounders in the fourth and fifth rounds because people balked on them. The problem is supply and demand. Every team needs safeties and there were very few good ones out there and pushed up their demand in the draft.

I like both of them much better than most of the other guys coming out. Marcus Gilchrist and Jaiquawn Jarrett should be able to transition well to the NFL with their skillsets and mental makeup.
