Samantha was born at 10:28 ET this morning. She already has one game under her belt last year when the Broncos came to Jacksonville, but is looking forward to a seat with a little better view next time. Mama and baby are healthy and doing great!

By a shotgun while you still can, nothing worse than when those little peckerheads are knocking at the door wanting to take her to the movies....

We're home now and doing good still - here's a picture of me introducing our son to his sister.

Nice, big brother looks pretty young still. My best to your wife, she's going to need it.

Thanks! We've already started what we called "the cycle of violence" 2 years ago with our son - the non-stop eat, poop, eat, poop, eat, poop. That's always fun at 3 in the morning :)

It's funny, after our son was born, she didn't even want to think about another kid for at least a year. This time, she's already open to another one (probably stop at 3, but I'd like 4 or 5). She only had to push 4 times - less than a minute, literally, so her body felt so much less beat up than last time, which helps so much. Just have to make it to Thursday when her Dad and Stepmom come down.

The one positive with 4 or 5 is that after you have 3 anymore is no big deal.

It's much easier after the first because you know what's happening but with an older sibling you can't always lay down and rest when the baby does. I just know I've been tired for 36 years.

Some friends of ours came by yesterday and took our son for 5+ hours. It was great. we both got a nap in - and it was nice just to have some quiet.
