"Von, would you say the players HATE Josh McDaniels?"

"Von, where were you when Josh McDaniels traded Peyton Hillis?"

"Von, has Josh McDaniels sent you mixed signals about your role on the team?"

Watching the video, cant help like the kid and want to see him in the orange an blue. However I dont think its going to happen. Taking a hard stand on the current NFL situation might not sit well with the team. If memory serves correct: Foxworth was shipped out for next to nothing once he started to publicly voice his opinion. Just a thought.

Lol....Foxworthy sucked as a starter, so they got rid of him.

I clearly remember everyone at the OMane community giving him a trade grade of a second or third round. Hilarious!

When I read the thread title I thought Nooooo! keep her away from the potential players...

Can anyone recap, I'm at work and can't listen.

Well, I made it 4 minutes in.... I just can not listen to the midget talk. I will never complain ever again about her if I do not have to listen to her talk ever again

After he got punked up and down the field in that AFC Championship game by Benburger, I had my fill of Foxworth.

I like this kid. He has an explosive change of direction.

I'd rather have Dareus, but I wouldnt be upset at all if we drafted Miller.

Question for those familiar with Fox's defenses (Med/Rev?), how does he utilize his LBs? Would Von Miller's ability to get after the QB be negated by Fox's scheme? Or does he utilize blitz packages or put his LBs in pass rush situations enough to get use out of Miller's ability to get after the QB?

You can never have too many guys that get after the QB. Miller has some sick change of direction and body control. And rarely do you see a blocker stick to him. He's just slippery.

This is a blurb from Ted Bartlett's mock draft at http://www.itsalloverfatman.com :
"Denver Broncos Von Miller OLB Texas A&M

Miller is the second-most dominant football player in this class, and the Broncos have to be happy to get him here. By trading down to 5 so that Arizona can take Gabbert, the Broncos are essentially saying that they're happy with any one of Dareus, Fairley, and Miller, which I think is appropriate considering the payout. Miller can start as the Sam LB right away, and give the Broncos a ton of scheme flexibility in sub packages. He'll be a threat to blitz on every play, and given Dennis Allen's background, I like the way that sounds."

He discusses Von more in depth in some older articles but I got tired of searching. The general concensus at that blog seems to be Fairley is the best choice, but they seem very interested in what the Broncos could do with Miller.

We'd have to trade down for me to be interested in Miller, and even then I don't think he is going to be the best fit for the team.

I think he'll be good. Just not for the Broncos.

Yeah I'm not terribly excited. Any time I think of taking a super athletic OLB over a DT I think of DJ over Vince Wilfork and then I get sad.

Blitzing LBs are pretty rare for Fox. He has coverages where when the TE stays in to block the Sam will bring it, but called LB blitzes are pretty rare.

To portray that better: In 4 years of full time starting, Beason (a top tier LB) has 4 total sacks. As a reference, in the same 4 years (minus 1 missed game), Willis (a top tier LB) has 15 sacks. The Saints bring their LBs (usually Vilma with mixed success Ha! ) with a LITTLE more frequency, but still not that much.

Miller would be a great addition to the team, no doubt, but at #2 for this fit? No, he has a lot more value to next several teams selecting behind us, and I think Miller is a guy who should be pass rushing at LEAST 10 snaps per game.

He's not just athletic, he's a big dude with some explosiveness.
