Kickoff rule changes passed

The NFL competition committee has agreed to move kickoffs from the 30 to the 35-yard line, according to a source.

(Headline on nfl.com (http://nfl.com)).

Adam Schefter:
Kickoffs will be moved up to the 35-yard line but touchbacks will remain at the 20-yard line.

Even with touchbacks remaining at the 20 I can't see many returns at Mile High, not that I'm fussed, seeing as our special teams are anything but special.

well seeing as our ST return units blow every year i am not too bummed about the change. but considering Prater already kicks through the end zone, now we can basically be assured of a ****load of touchbacks from him.

well they should add something exciting since there will be fewer returns, how about 1 pt if the kicker splits the uprights.

I'd rather see 7-on-7 for kickoffs: Faster guys, less injuries and makes the kicker tackle.
