He looks really little when he lines up at DT.

He looks 100% better than Quinn but I wouldn't call him a superstar. This might be the safest pick at #2. Bowers looks a lot like Trevor Pryce to me. A big DE that can play the run as well as get after the QB. SAFE PICK!

The safest pick is Peterson. Quinn and Bowers played different positions BTW...Quinn lined up as the rush end on the right and faced the other teams best pass blocking tackle. Bowers seems to have mostly been on the left side if the video's I've seen so far are indicative. Quinn may be seen as an OLB in a 3-4 by some teams.

No doubt. To me, Bowers looks like the best defensive player in the draft.

Go back and watch Suh highlights. Bowers shows a similar type of power in that he is dominant with his leverage, which made him the best player in the nation last year in plays for losses. He tackles lilke a ton of bricks shot from a catapult when he's square.

Bowers is an A+ character guy with A- talent/skill. He has the body type and tackles like Reggie White, another DE who was extremely powerful, who consequently had a similar temperment and personality.

This is the most impressive prospect in the draft, IMO.

I think that this is who Xanders was referring to when he was talking about getting a player who will be able to make negative plays.

I think at this point that Bowers is the first guy off the board.

What we need is help in the middle. I honestly think we have the tealent at DE if we can find some DT's that consistently eat double teams and make tackles.

If you want a more impressive highlight tape than Bowers, take a look at this guy. The video is a little pixellated but he is #91, and plays RDE in the video. He's more explosive, faster in the open field, and makes great plays. Looks better than Bowers' highlights to me. Check it out:

Who the heck is that guy? Ha!

Think he lost weight to play LB for us didn't he? Anyone know if he's currently balking up for a move back to DE?

God, forgot how impressive Ayers was when playing his natural position. Though it was only his senior season that he started to put everything together. He might be the answer to the LDE. I say take Peterson (or Dareus; he would be worth the selection, but lower overall ceiling) @ 2, DT @ 36 (should still be talent available w/ less risk invested), DE or ILB @ 46 if the talent fits the selection.

Yea he looked much bigger then. I would hope he's bulking up this offseason.

#77 is Zebrie Sanders, 6'6", 305 (listed as big as 325 also) and according to the link below, their OL's best guy, though I'm not sure if he's coming out now...maybe in 2012 from what little I can find.
