The biggest bust in NFL history could be getting the boot in Oakland again.

JaMarcus Russell(notes) is facing foreclosure on his $2.4 million Bay Area mansion after failing to pay the mortgage. According to TMZ (which managed to secure some documents about the foreclosure in between all of its Charlie Sheen coverage), the former No. 1 pick owes nearly $200,000 in back payments.

He owes $200,000 in back payments on his mortgage? He's gonna have to sell a lot of purple drank to make that up.

The real story is he probably has been renting it out and pocketing the cash while not paying the mortgage. Now he will just walk away and let bank take the home.

I doubt house has been sitting empty, and I doubt he has been living in it.

this is exactly why the owners know the players will be the 1st to break in the CBA talks. sure there are guys like Champ, Peyton, Brady, Brees who make damn good money, but don't waste it, but a large majority of the players have no clue how to act with their money.

they think that multi million dollar deal will never run out, and they spend like it is always going to be there.

It may be but it's still going on all over California. Unless the renter gets kicked out by bank after paying the owner that months rent it's hard to prove. A lot of times owner tells renter pay me less, do it in cash, and in 6 months you move out etc etc.
