Thomas is only DT that suited for UT position on this team.

what about the long snapper?

So if Prater signs his offer, does anybody think that means he has the kicking job locked up?

I glad nothing came of all the talk about releasing Harris.

He's our best RT if he's healthy and I liked the look of our line with Beadles at LG.

Am I right in thinking that we're going to run a zone blocking scheme this year?

Vickerson showed something.

releasing Harris would be crazy. Also not looking to ass some depth to the line also crazy. I'm more worried about LG and C then I am tackle. I just think they were both hurt last yr.

They said we were moving back to it, with some power-blocking mixed in.

I like Beadles. Don't know if he'd be better in ZBS though.

Vickerson showed something.

He had some decent moments but also some horrible penalties at some of the worst times.

So that means what if someone signs them? we can match or get a pick from the round they were drafted in?

Beadles will be good in the ZBS.

Walton on the other hand, I'm not sure.

Walton played ZBS at Baylor and supposedly is an ideal ZBS player from the scouts' perspective at the last draft.

Adding ZBS would be a good idea considering how good these guys ran ZBS under Shanny.

Did he? Thanks for the info.

I just remember watching Beadles pulling this year and thought that he would really excel in a ZBS. Walton is big and looked slow to me, I just made an assumption that he wouldn't be able to have the quickness for it.

he can pull really well so yes he should be able to pull it off . I bet he is watching his weight some this off season.

Exactly, which is why McCheat was trying to trade him, like I always say, do the opposite.

rotoworld.com...

Broncos extended restricted free agent tenders to OLB Wesley Woodyard, RT Ryan Harris, DTs Marcus Thomas and Kevin Vickerson, and K Matt Prater.

We did this post under Woodyard because he's the only "real" restricted free agent of the group. The rest of them have four or more years of experience and should be unrestricted after the next CBA. It's believed Woodyard is in line for more playing time in Denver's new 3-4, probably on the strong side.

This means Buckhalter won't be back?

Didn't see this in the thread, but kffl is showing that they extended second round, $1.835m tenders to Prater & Woodyard. Harris, Vickerson & Thomas were extended "original" round, $1.2m tenders.
