A third round prospect at our most glaring need on offense--pass catching TE. He could provide a security blanket for Tebow. They'd have a great chemistry as inspirational leaders. Both men received the Disney Spirit Award. Williams also received the Mackey award given to the top TE.

If Kyle Rudolph is available with our second 2nd round pick, that would be the way to go. Though I am still hoping the CBA gets worked out and we can take a shot at Zach Miller or Owen Daniels in free agency. I like Williams, but 3rd round is too high for him. And we don't have a 4th or 5th, where he will most likely go.

Yeah, the TE position sure needs an upgrade. And needing that on top of upgrading the D makes me hope Denver can somehow trade down from the #2 while still getting Dareus, and getting an additional first day pick that allows them to grab a top TE.

That's the perfect world, I'm thinking. To see it happen will require some good wheeling and dealing, plus some luck.

If we want Dareus we better stay at 2 cause most believe he's the best DT in the draft and he won't be there at 7-10

6'2" / 235 is too small for an NFL TE in this day and age. Especially for where he will be drafted.

I'd be all for Rudolph IF and only if they acquire a third 2nd round pick.

If not, take a shot on Stephen Skelton (Yes, John's brother) in the 6th/7th.

6'5" 250 & 4.68 40 are the last numbers I saw on him. 127 Receptions and a 10.3 YPC over the last 3 years at Fordham.

Yeah, I think the only way we trade back and still get Dareus is if the Bengals trade up to get a QB before Buffalo. We'd still be risking losing Dareus to Buffalo in that scenario though. But most likely he would be there at 4.

id rather have rob housler but we wont get hime since we have no picks in the 4th and 5th round where he will likely go

I'm pretty sure we can work the board if we want to with those 2 2nd rd picks and if we want to trade out of 2.

You are aware that day 1 in the draft is round 1 only. Just sayin

his bench press at the combine guaranteed he is the first DT off the board. only question that remains, what is Carolina going to do?
