That's an important story and all but the link from that page was golden:
No joke: Ex-mayor's name too suggestive for Ind. center
FORT WAYNE, Ind. — A former Indiana mayor who won over voters in the 1930s is proving less popular with modern city leaders trying to choose a name for a new government center.
Harry Baals (bawlz) is the runaway favorite in online voting to name the new building in Fort Wayne. But Deputy Mayor Beth Malloy tells The Journal Gazette that the city probably won’t name the center after its longest tenured mayor because of the jokes it could inspire.

Maybe he's just a history buff. There's a long history in America of union protesters getting shot. Look at the miners of Leadville right here in Colorado. Henry Ford had his own little private army. When union protesters marched on the Dearborn plant, he had his thugs open fire with Thompson sub-machine guns. I guess this politician misses those good ole days.

As Stan writes, the Kochs have dual interests in seeing the labor movement fail in Wisconsin: on the one hand, Koch Industries is a major corporate player in Wisconsin, with at least 17 facilities and offices in the state and "nearly 4,000 miles of pipeline" through its Koch Pipeline Company, L.P. The Kochs, like many corporate leaders, see labor as "the last strong line of resistance against the wholesale takeover of government (and your tax dollars) by corporations." (Meanwhile, the company has been slashing jobs in Wisconsin as David and Charles Koch granted themselves an $11 billion pay raise.)
But also, the contracts won by organized workers set the ceiling for workers in the rest of the country. So business leaders like the Koch brothers, who have corporate interests all over the country, have an especially vested interest in keeping the Wisconsin uprising from succeeding. It's all about the bottom line.
And now, the Koch-supported AFP is ratcheting up its support for the union-busting plan that it helped breed in the first place.
At the end of last week, Think Progress reported that AFP was helping organize pro-Walker protests in Madison and bus in Tea Partiers to attend. As Talking Points Memo noted, the numbers maybe weren't what AFP had hoped for: "The pro-Walker Tea Party rally featured something of an all-star cast: Andrew Breitbart, Joe "The Plumber" Wurzelbacher, Herman Cain and more. However, every estimate in the media has shown that the pro-Walker demonstration was outnumbered several times over by the pro-union demonstrators."
Then, AFP launched the propagandist Web site StandWithWalker.

No. You have mades some conspiratorial assertions that I have not seen any proof of.
I attended several events as a photographer over the past couple of years, and all I saw were your typical middle class 40-60 somethings who drove themselves there or flew in. The events were usually at pre-ordained meet-up spots and had very little formal leadership.
Like I said...where's the proof?

Yes the guy is a total scumbag but not and elected offical......
Jeffrey Cox is a deputy attorney general hired during the previous administration of the former Attorney General. Mr. Cox continued on in the same position when the current administration took office. He was hired on qualifications, it is not a political appointment. He is one of 144 attorneys who work for this agency and he does not have any supervisory or managerial role. He does not work at the Indiana Statehouse.

nah, i've covered the tea party rallies here where I live. It's pretty much a staged event. Manufactured to show that something is happening, but it's really not. It's the same old violent rhetoric that's used by the right wingers the FBI warns us about (you know, the terrorists).

And you have no proof of anything other than your word, which I know to be false regarding this.
Why continue to beat a dead horse? You cant back up your claim with any substance. You have a limp argument.

Unbelievable. IMO not only should he be fired but there should be some sort of criminality to that statement. Send a message to both parties any call for violence against Americans should be jail time IMO.

What a joke. Both sides bringing in out of staters, blah blah blah. What a mess. Really though you can't let protesting stop the govt from working. The gov needs to compromise because you can't beat the unions. I know some union guys who got paid to go into non union shops and try to turn them union. That is how they operate. They will shut down the state if they have to.
Better to make them pay more into pension like the said they would. See if they really will etc etc. Give up on the collective bargaining issue.
That is the smart political move but I really know nothing of the governor. Who knows what he will do. Sounds like he must have some big money coming in from non union types, corporations, to dig his heals in this hard.
So if we have a confluence of unions who play dirty, who are strong, who have money......and corporations who play dirty, who are strong, who have money...we have a problem. This is the one issue liberal dems and blue dogs can probably get together on. Thats a lot of power right there.
