No way, base camp was part of a trip we took last year.
Our guide got us up at 6 am for a 4.5km (2 mile) hike to where that pic was taken.
At 17,000 ft elevation & -12 celsius without windchill, I couldn't manage to catch my breath even while slow walking.
How people manage above that, climbing uphill, in snow I'll never comprehend.

That's pretty sweet I've started climbing in Montana and Wyoming and I would love to climb Everest someday though I doubt that will ever happen
