Partially because of his injury history, partially because they need the money to pay Manning. I really think the Broncos should bring him in for a look, if he can be had for a large discount.

Wow, really? There aren't 30 other teams thinking the same thing right now too.

I love the Interwebz. Everyone should be brought in if they are willing to sign for a deep discount, or an incentive-based contract because everyone wins with that since there is something to play for, and any proposed trade can magically become even if a vague conditional draft pick is thrown in.

he just needs to stop being a wuss and rub some dirt on himself.

If we time it right him and Darcel could split time being injured. Just put each other out there for two games haha

When Sanders is healthy and in the lineup, he is every bit as important as a Polamolu. Unfortunately, he's never, ever healthy.

If he could stay healthy he would be a pro bowler

If he could stay healthy, he would a be an All Pro, and legitimate HOF candidate. But he cant. Sorta like #30.

I wouldn't even want to go jogging with this guy for fear that I might get hit with some kind of shrapnel when his kneecap explodes.

I don't really see what the harm would be in signing him to a short term performance based contract. Our safeties were both injury prone and crappy. Dawkins is done. He even sucked in the box last year. I'm not sold that McBath is going to pan out. At least Bob Sanders is injury prone, but good when he plays.

Ah, the Omane, where every teams injured castoffs can be all stars

It really is pathetic where this team is right now. Not so much the Mane, but the team. The Broncs have been building around castoffs for about 12 years now.

The Leon Lett's, Raylee Johnson's, Chuck Smith's, Jamaal Williams, Javon Walker, Courtney Brown, Mario Haggan, etc, etc.

The draft picks haven't amounted to anything, only one All-Pro among them for the past 10-12 years, and that was Elvis in 2009.

Clady was ranked the #1 Offensive Tackle before his knee injury.

We have had several draft picks end up very good. The problem is, most aren't on this team. Jay Cutler, Brandon Marshall, Chris Kuper, Elvis Dumervil, Ryan Clady, Peyton Hillis, Eddie Royal were all selected, but half of them aren't on the team anymore

We could go after both. Atagwe is a FS anyway, isn't he?

That'd be a SICK secondary if we kept champ and got Peterson.

Can we sign him to a series of one-game contracts?

This will be part of the new negotiations between the owners and player's union. It will be called the Ryan harris/Bob Sanders contract rules that allows teams to use the Pay as You Go plan. 17 contracts in one year covering each week. If you are hurt, team can just not sign that week's contract.

All you haters out there, Sanders could give the Broncos 16 games played. Of course we would have to sign him to a 4 year contract to see it happen.

You could also call it the "Chad Mustard rule".
