Another lame Pro Bowl.

Anyone else get the feeling that this is the type of product Goodell would love to see every Sunday? Booooo.

Loved watching Cassel excel though.

Lloyd looked nervous, dropped several passes that he should have caught

Can we finally have the Pro-bowl as the international game and leave our regular season games in the states?

I dunno, Hogan... I think Goodell would have preferred a less-sucky performance by Philip Rivers and Paidaton Manning. Holy crap those two sucked in the first half of the game today. If they played like that every Sunday, jersey sales might drop. ;)

What was coolest to me about the pro bowl is that I could imagine that I was a Hawaiian in the stands. The people that were there looked like they could care less and were just checking it out in before they headed back out to the beach.

The only reason to watch the pro bowl USED to be the Superbowl was over and you were in football withdrawals.

Moving it was retarded.

If that is the best they can do for a pro football game then why play it? You still risk injury even when you play like a bunch of women. Pro bowl is not worth watching IMO. I mean at least it used to look like players were sometimes trying.

I have to agree. The idea of the Pro Bowl is great, but the execution is terrible. If they're going to execute the game the way they currently do, why even televise it? I understand that letting the best players go to Hawaii to celebrate a great season is an excellent award, but it shouldn't generate the media hype that it does.

They deserve to go to Hawaii, but if this is the way it's going to be, then let them go down there on a legitimate vacation away from the media. They can have a flag football game while they're there, which wouldn't be much different than what they currently do.

One of the very few players even trying hard was Adrian Peterson, just because he wanted MVP of the game. BFD.

The kick off return guy for the AFC got a work out. A white guy from the Titans I believe, reminded me of Eddie Mac. Later he complained of viscious racial name calling by the NFC.

I remember when the teams would at least make an effort. Of what I saw today, just put flags on them, better yet let them all play golf in Hawaii and have fun raisers for charities.

I'd rather see the practice squad guys get invited to play. Then the vets would be worried some young kid trying to make name for himself going to decleat you.

This comish is so bad he could actually destroy the strongest league in the country. It keeps going like this and eventually we will have so many games decided by what is or isnt a penalty it will be a joke. Oh and meanwhile there will still be the same number of concussions and injuries. So you do it all for nothing.

No I will keep it to threads that have a connection to his stupid ideas. Like playing probowl before superbowl. Genius. 18 games will be the next cluster****. Let's water down the games so we can make more money. Great. Let's make the game so hard to referee we have tons of strange calls that lead to teams winning or losing. Cool.

Yeah maybe 20 years ago when they didn't make the huge money that they make now, Hawaii just isn't an incentive anymore, maybe if the game was played on the moon.

I watched Dr. Zhivago instead. They should just go ahead and jump to the concept they really want: Fly these guys to Hawaii and have Survivor type events for them to participate in. That will get them the wider audience that Goodell wants.

I remember London Fletcher intercepting a pass and a bunch of AFC players just WALK, literally WALK by, maybe hoping London would trip on his own and fall down so they wouldn't have to tackle him.
It was pathetic and I pretty much stopped watching once it was 21-0.

I used to like the pro bowl when John Elway was playing. I hate it now. The only plays I remember in pro bowls by bronco players are Atwater getting a couple picks in one, Neil Smith getting ejected for fighting,Elway last Td pass to Sam Gash, Al Wilson getting smoked,Marshall droping a Manning Td.

His name is Marc Mariani. He is a rookie this year out of my alma mater, and I wanted him in the sixth round as a slot receiver/kick and punt returner.

He ran back a punt for a touchdown against us.

He is very good. Especially for a guy who walked on at 1-AA Montana.

What happened to the QB challenge and events like that? I used to LOVE watching those on an otherwise quiet saturday/sunday. They still do those events?
