All these guys better hurry up and get whatever they need done, done soon. In less than two months, they're either going to have no health coverage or they're at least not going to have the same level of health coverage they have today.

At several mil a year, I think he can afford it... just get on Aetna.

If it's one thing I've learned about these guys, it's this: I don't care how much they make. They spend more.

bet there is a lot of guys having some sort of work done, really nothing to worry about especially if they finished the season relatively healthy.

The good news? Look at Steve Smith's numbers. If Eddie Royal can play the same role, he should be good to go!

Since this thread made me do a Google search on Eddie Royal, I did find this interesting tidbit about a Virginia Tech cornerback, who references Royal several times about being a good leader...

Greek probably told him it was just a bruised shin and he played on it all year and it degenerated to this point.

I still maintain that Wilford Brimley would be a better trainer. He's got just as many degrees and certifications as Greek. At the very least, he would have diagnosed the Beetus earlier.

That's a good point, I wonder if I should wait awhile to buy plane tickets and stuff since the CBA could concievably back the offseason schedule up.

Report: Royal out 6 months after hip surgery

He hasn't been a factor (as a receiver) since 08.

With Bay Bay ready to step in, Decker pushing for time, Gaff & Lloyd starting.... it's cool.

I don't think Gaffney will be here next year. I think he goes for a draft pick hopefully a 3 or 4th rounder for the rams knowing McDaniels love for mediocre personnel. But I think Lloyd, Thomas, Royal (healthy), Decker, and Willis is one of the best WR corp in the league.

not to start an argument, but to take a shot at McD for his love of mediocre personnel to then call a WR corps where 4 out 5 of the players were his, one of the best, is a little funny

No way he's better by May. If this is a 6 month recovery I would say goodbye to Eddie Royal.

I had hip surgery about a year ago. I was jogging 4 weeks later. I have no idea what his surgery is but they can do a lot with arthroscopic procedures these days, even on the hip.

I got over Eddie Royal when DeSean Jackson started outperforming him. :(
