I'm not much of a basketball guy, but this kid has been SICK all year.

Might be having his best game of the season today vs. Indiana. Has 28 points and its NOT EVEN HALFTIME YET.

Strangely, he's appearing even more dominant in the NBA than he was at Oklahoma.

Great kid, great player.

I haven't seen him play yet (since he's been in the NBA, I did see him at OU), but after reading about him in the bottom half of the article linked below I'll have to do so.

This Blake Griffin situation has gone places for which, frankly, I wasn't prepared. You see this stuff on television, you see these guys when they pass through town, but to have someone this special playing down the street to have season tickets for someone like this I can barely put it into words.

You know when you're in the theater watching a gripping movie, and you can't get up for the bathroom or popcorn because you don't want to miss a scene? That's Griffin. He's the movie. You can't get up, glance at your iPhone, glance at a text, fumble for your soda there's just no way to know when that next highlight is coming. The fact that he's a guaranteed 24-13 guy every night -- it's almost an afterthought to the show itself. Griffin plays with an ongoing recklessness that's both breathtaking and petrifying.

They rested him the last 2 mins of the half, so he's still at 28 at the half. He'll prolly hit 50 today, IMO.

when i watched him vs the nuggs I found him to be trying to hard for the ESPN highlight dunk, and because of it he missed shots, passed up easier shots, missed some plays that should have been passes etc...

Is he good yes, would I take him over anyone in NBA right now, HELL NO

A year or two in he'll realize he should take a few nights off here and there. He has playoff intensity in every game, and that usually just ends up in injury.

This guy is the talk of not only the NBA but also here in Laker town. It is the best thing the Clippers have done since moving from San Diego (or is that Buffalo?). He gets a guaranteed double double every game and is a highlight reel. SoCal starting a thread on him means he will actually root for a local team?

Getting into that dust up with Odom was awesome too. Almost a "I'm taking this town" sense of bravado in it.

In a few years he might be the best player in the league. It will be interesting to see if he remains a Clipper, and if they keep that young group together. Eric Gordon is a baller at shooting guard. But this team has no veteran leadership, mostly because Baron Davis seems to show up when ever he wants to. If he would show up and play to his abilities every night this team would win some more games.

The Clippers get young talent often, and that young talent keeps walking out the door. I wouldn't be shocked if both Gordon and Griffin were gone when their contracts were up. Griffin would look great in a Lakers uniform. I'm just saying. ;D

I'm the Sports Editor for the Los Angeles Sentinel. I started out as a sports photographer while in college (UCLA). About 5 years ago I decided that I wanted to be a sports writer. So I stumbled into a position at a small paper. They liked me because I could write the story and take the picture. So they didn't have to send two people out. Then I ended up at the Sentinel, which is a larger paper. After two years I became the Sports Editor. Seeing that I have no staff that's on the payroll, I have to do a lot of the writing and get a lot of the photos. But I have a few writers and photographers who send me stuff. It's a fun job and I get into nearly any sporting event that I want to get into. I shot the Broncos when they played at San Diego in '06. It was cool standing on the Broncos sideline.

The Clippers' Blake Griffin is one of Denver's dream targets in an Anthony trade, but sources told ESPN.com that those overtures have been consistently rejected.

Had to work today so I missed the game but this diehard Laker fan loves Blake.

I kind of get why Sterling never wanted to bring the Clips to Anaheim but with a Franchise guy like BG, it makes more sense than ever.

The Maloof's can talk all they want but a 3rd LA/OC team would be a complete flop.

If Sterling & Samueli could work something out in Anaheim, The Clips (Anchored by Griff) would be a HUGE success in OC.

I heard the 24-70 is nice. I use the Nikkor 18-200 a lot but it's not very fast the the color/sharpness leaves a lot to be desired. My favorite lens is my 50mm 1.8 prime, but it's obviously not very versatile. To that end I'm trying to save up for this 24-70:LINK (http://www.adorama.com/NK2470AFSU.html?utm_term=Other&utm_medium=Shopping%20Site&utm_campaign=Other&utm_source=gbase)

At OU he dominated and pretty much the reason why OU went so far in his sophmore year there. Lost to eventual champs NC due to nobody else stepping up for Griffin.
I remember after he blew his knee out everybody was saying he'd be a bust.

Guy is just so dominant down low, only thing is he can work on his free throw shooting a little more, get to 70% and look out.

He is a wonderful and talented player, so I really am trying not to take that away...but so far...we have him putting up 47 against Indiana and their powerhouse front court of Tyler Hansbrough and Roy Hibbert, and a bunch of dunks against Pistons, Knicks and Timberwolves teams that just seemed to want to get out of the way, which is trending as those three teams' style of defense.
