The Post had a pretty good article on the consultant used during the interview process, who was apparently also a Psychologist?

The Broncos used a consultant whom the Falcons and Chiefs used in their recent searches for a head coach.Give it a read.

Haha I bet after every interview he informed them that Xanders is a weiner. "Seriously, why's he still pouting about the pizza having no sausage?"

They didn't report who the person was.

At the end of the interviews, he handed Xanders his card.

It would be interesting to know how the Psychologist /head hunter would profile John Elway for the new job he has.

Let's see:

High school: Success
Stanford: Economics degree. Personal success, but team outcome not so great.
NFL: Success all the way to SBs, MVP of the league, and HOF, in other words, the pinnacle.
Business: Success
Arena Football: Success

Genuine desire to see the bronco's fans florish, and commitment to the community. And as you say, the toolset to master the position.

Extremely serious. He's been nothing shy of outstanding at every coaching stop.

I wouldn't call his work with the Jets and Bears outstanding...

Guess you don't read my posts dog. I'm very high on the move to bring Elway in

You think I hate Shanny - I don't

You think I hate Elway being hired - I don't

You think I love all things Josh McDaniels - I didn't

You are pretty much batting zero when it comes to knowing my positions.

He was an offensive assistant at the Jets and just starting his career. Not much room to excel in that role. 99-00 He became their receiving coach and managed to have Wayne Chrebet putting up good numbers and sent Keyshawn to the probowl.

And as a receivers coach for the Bears? Look at those receivers closer. They had the 3 best years of their career respectively under Haley.

Consultant: What I want to see is synergy, a groove is what you jocks say.
Elway: I've never used the word 'groove' in my entire life.
Ellis: It's a feeling, not a word.
Bowlen: That's what she said!
Consultant: The candidate's reaction to sandalwood incense is a barometer, if you will, to his reaction when presented with a scenario that requires interaction in a wholistic environment.
Xanders: I've always liked sandalwood, that's one of things Josh didn't like. And I said so.
Ellis (sotto voce): How many times do I have to tell you? Shut up.
Bowlen: Who is this guy, John? I don't like his tie. The tie makes the man, I've always said.
Elway: We're gonna have a guy in here with an orange tie. He's already at the airport.

How? They won by 4 points playing at home with a far superior roster.
