Per NFL.com, Fox is talking to Jim Mora about becoming the D-Coordinator.

I can live with that! But are we running a 4-3 now???

How is the possibility of switching schemes from a 3-4 to a 4-3 stability?

Not necessarily.

Fox pretty much said as much in his interview. Sounds like he'll get with his coaches, when they're settled on, look over personnel, and go from there.

It's going to be so weird to have a DC and scheme in place for more than one season....

It's not like they have a NT anyway.

Run whatever works and whatever can get the team on its feet quicker.

Jim Mora Jr. is a world class a-hole, but took over the 30th ranked defense for the 49ers in '99 and had them up to 9th by '01.

I suppose so, but damn...it can't happen every freakin' year.

Can it?

Dear Coach Mora:

I was not given a fair shake by Mike Shanahan or Josh McDaniels. I would greatly appreciate a tryout.

Sincerely,

Jarvis Moss

Don't like Mora, but stability may come on offense. I think there's a great chance he keeps McCoy as OC.

Those were some baaaaad Dennis Erickson teams, but yeah. I wonder how he got the Atlanta job after that decline?

Mora has ties to Tom Cable... I'd like to see us bring in Cable as either OL or OC.

This is an all around questionable hire in my eyes. He's only ever been mediocre to bad.

The Broncos brought a proven NFL coach on board. I think Champ will be thrilled with that prospect. We aren't hiring someone who has to learn on the job...

If I were Champ I wouldn't take a hometown discount but I'd hear what Fox had to say....
