Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch did more than just score one of the best touchdowns in the history of football Saturday against the Saints.

He also caused an earthquake.

OK, maybe “earthquake” is an exaggeration, but the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network recorded a small tremor near Qwest Field at exactly 4:43 p.m. Saturday, just as Lynch was reeling off his incredible 67-yard run, presumably meaning the run got the crowd jumping up and down screaming to such an extent that the earth moved.

That has happened before: In 1988, a seismograph detected the crowd reaction to LSU’s winning touchdown over Auburn in a game now known as the Earthquake Game.

Maybe we can call Lynch’s touchdown the Earthquake Run.

That's nothing, Jamarcus Russel did the same thing every time he ran.

He grabbed his dong while diving into the endzone. I found that amusing.

I wonder if Goodell will suspend him?

Forget Hasselback. What about Tyler Palumbus? He was lead blocking 70 yards down field at around 300 lbs.

Doesn't really matter. He'll come up with some reason why mcd had some great plan that we'll never know the outcome of now because we went and fired the guy who absolutely ruined our proud franchise.

how didn't we?

Because they gave up a 4th and a 6th while we swapped a 4th FOR a 6th.

Big difference. Namely that Seattle is down two picks for next year whereas we didn't lose quantity, just traded quality.

Rumor is Lynch scored low on his SIGMA test and was too dumb to play in Chan Gailey's offense.

Same difference.

A very high 4th round pick for what should be a very low 6th round pick and a guy who didn't play for 2 months.

Not to mention he should be gone soon.

You forgot the most important part, they GOT quality in return, we didn't.

It was probably wrapping it self around his leg and was going to trip him up so he was shifting it.
