I'm definitely looking forward to today's games more than yesterday's.

I've thought the Ravens were kinda slipping this year so I wouldn't be surprised to see KC pull the upset if the running game can be solid.

I expect the Ravens to slaughter the Chiefs. Then again, I expected the same from the Saints against the Seahawks, so I have no confidence that it will actually happen.

I expect KC to bounce back from last week's abortion at Arrowhead and give the Ravens a good game.

Yesterday I picked the Saints & Colts to win. Therefore, this bodes well for KC and Philly as I picked GB and B-more to win today...

I'm going with my underdog theme here again.
I'm assuming the Ravens are favorite?
If not, I still take the Chiefs. They're 7-1 at home.
Arrowhead is a rough place for visiting teams to play, add the play-offs atmosphere and the Chiefs could come up here with a first round win

We've also got to see the frame of mind Ed Reed is in today. I wouldn't expect it to be an issue but I've never gone through that so I don't know.

After yesterdays games it's hard to say. But I'm hoping and thinking Baltimore's D will stifle KC's offense. Ngata is listed as questionable, hope he plays. Hoping Reed's life struggle bolsters his play. Wish him peace and some answers. Basically hoping Baltimore wipes up the field with KC.

I wasn't kidding when I said it rhymes. There are a lot of Mormon athletes that are called Stormin Mormons. As far as Heap I know that Berman, with his "clever" names for people has called him that so his may have come from that.

Not all Mormons go to BYU. And BYU doesn't have all Mormons attending there.

Moreno is a solid back. I get really tired of this crap. Most fast backs suck compared to Charles. Guys like him are very rare. If we can get a guy like him, awesome, but Moreno is a good back who consistently gains yards behind a line that constantly allows penetration into the backfield.

Tight Ends

Zach Miller (OAK) – Miller is without a doubt the Raiders top offensive target. He’s a reliable target who has produced at a high level without a legitimate starting quarterback. Unlike many of the hybrid tight ends around the league, Miller is also a good blocker with a very bright future ahead of himself.

Marcedes Lewis (JAC) – The 6’6, 275-pound Lewis had a breakout season as a reliable red zone target. His size creates mismatches down the seam and opens up room underneath. He isn’t an elite tight end, but is the most consistent receiver on the Jaguars. Given the struggles the Jaguars have had in finding dependable offensive weapons since the Jimmy Smith/Keenan McCardell days, they’ll look to re-sign Lewis. Like Miller, Lewis is also a well-rounded tight end.

Owen Daniels, HOU – Daniels was on a sizzling pace in 2009 before injury cut short a spectacular season. Over the last quarter of 2010, he showed some of the same promise that he could soon be an elite pass-catching TE once again. Still, the injury last year cost Daniels a lot of coin.

Kevin Boss, NYG – Boss is a well-rounded tight end in line with the Giants emphasis on the running game. Though opportunities have been somewhat limited by the success of the Giants receiving corps, Boss has been reliable and effective when thrown to. He’s the perfect tight end for the Giants offense and an integral cog in both the rushing and passing attack.

Other Notable Free Agents:
Ben Patrick (ARZ)
Dante Rosario (CAR)
Jeff King (CAR)
Desmond Clark (CHI)
Reggie Kelly (CIN)
Alex Smith (CLE)
Leonard Pope (KC)
Joey Haynos (MIA)
David Thomas (NO)

And only 15 offensive plays run. Relying on your run game (especially when you rely on Charles and his spurts) can't keep the chains moving alone. They need to sustain some drives or Balt will eventually nickel and dime em to a few more points and seal the game.

Zach Miller is only 25yrs old and has averaged 50 catches for 700yds during his 4yrs in the NFL. He would be the perfect safety valve for Tebow.

I'm still waiting for a reasonable explanation for that one...

Well it is the Chiefs and they did also think Brodie Croyle was the answer at one point, so there's that lack of perception thing going on with their management maybe.

that or their GM was a Patriot and Cassel was a patriot...and it's a big Bill Belichick scheme. ;D

Wow Chiefs having one of there worst playoff performances ever. Cassel being exposed for what he is, which is a very average player. The best thing they have going is Charles but even he can't help this crap because stupid Haley doesn't get him the ball enough.

What a crappy performance by the whole team.

edog24

The refs seem to have it in for the chefs. It's too bad, they are playing a great game against a very tough D. I think the tuck was just a make up call because they blew the personal foul that should have been called for a blatant helmet shot on the QB.

Balt is terrible. KC is stuck between a slow death through the running game or a sure death if they let Cassel take to throwing the ball. If you had a QB who could be agressive then this might not even be a game at this point.
