Man...he was simply sensational wasn't he? If Bey Bey can stay healthy and take the jump to the next level his sophmore year we're sitting pretty with those two and Eddie, Gaffney and Decker.

Some people around here actually doubt that he's the best, this year. Get ready for it...ROFL!

Only Jerry Rice has caught for more yards. I don't care if he gets paid or not this season.

Help me understand this ... been hearing it lately -
Several WRs have had more than 1448 recieving yards in a season, example A. Johnson had 1575 in 2008 and R. Wayne had 1510 in 2007

Anyone else see the "relatively" easy bomb that Lloyd dropped in the first quarter of SD game? Tebow throws a perfect deep ball, it hits Lloyd right in the hands and he drops it.

It's plays like this that leave coaches scratching their heads.

I'm not making excuses for him....he should have caught it....but it looked like the sun was right in his eyes on that play.

Go full-on poor-man's SanFran WCO--

Tebow (Steve Young), Lloyd (Rice), Bey Bey (John Taylor) and even Moreno (Roger Craig)...

Just a thought... :)

That's the first thing I said. I'm Denver and I turned around and saw where the sun was and thought it was the sun. Especially when the Stadium's shadow is partially on the field that jacks with your depth perception.

Yeah, he should have come down with that one. He has had three or four of those this season. But he's had about 10 or 15, "No he didn't" type catches that far outweigh those three or four drops. His drops pct is great, no way can you complain about BLloyd!

You're not Denver.... I'm Denver!

;D

btw, I agree the sun/shadows had a lot to do with that play. But even if he just flat out sucked on that one play and dropped it... He makes 10 plays for every drop.

Rod Smith had the same dropsie problem for awhile. Lloyd was one of the bright spots for the Broncos this year. But I'm tired of a player having a great season and automatically we need to pay him more. I understand wanting to keep him but until this whole lock out thing is over nothing should be done or let him know what will be done if he has a similar season. I think he was just happy to be given the chance.

The problem is unlike other sports nfl is not guarenteed money, one big injury and youre earning power is done, you have to strike when the iron is hot..is there any word of him bitching about money?

I keep hearing this only Jerry Rice had a better year than Lloyd . over and over and some even think he is the best in the league which is delusional...

1. Jerry Rice+ (33) 1,848 1995 SFO
2. Isaac Bruce (23) 1,781 1995 STL
3. Charley Hennigan (26) 1,746 1961 HOU
4. Marvin Harrison (30) 1,722 2002 IND
5. Torry Holt (27) 1,696 2003 STL
6. Herman Moore (26) 1,686 1995 DET
7. Marvin Harrison (27) 1,663 1999 IND
8. Jimmy Smith (30) 1,636 1999 JAX
9. Torry Holt (24) 1,635 2000 STL
10. Randy Moss (26) 1,632 2003 MIN

He DIDN'T EVEN HAVE ONE OF THE 10 best season ever ... SO WHERE EVER YOU HEARD THIS ONLY RICE CAUGHT HAD MORE YARDS IN A SEASON CRAP PLEASE STOP WITH IT .... I almost think during our game Sunday you guys heard the commentators wrong or they said it wrong or something....

It was the 39th best year ever by a wr ... not the 2nd ....
39. Brandon Lloyd (29) 1,448 2010 DEN

It was the second best receiving yards total behind Rod Smith for a Bronco.
I totally love Lloyd but he should not be our priority this offseason. Resign Champ, Prater, Harris, Vickerson and then worry about extending Lloyd.

Fantastic season for Lloyd and I'm very happy for him and hopeful that he can remain a Bronco for as long as his legs can hold up
