Heads up he playing tonight for Baylor against Illinois. Taylor is a massive NT that should be around in the second/third.

He's 340 pounds before breakfast.

Taylor has some seriously great skills, but does he have the discipline to slim down and play decisively and effectively? Hopefully he will play in one of the postseason all star bowls and try and get his weight down a little before then.

Med, how do you currently rank the NTs in this draft? Between Powe, Taylor, and Kedrick

I have not got there yet, but those are not even all the top 5 NT's in the draft. I need to see more of Taylor against better competition, Powe looked scheme inhibited, and Kendrick may not be a top 5 NT depending on who declares IMHO.

Got ya. I'll just be patient then. Thanks for all you do

Phil Taylor was at best, a fourth round selection in this senior class of defensive lineman. A lot of character concerns with him. If more underclassmen declare, he will probably get pushed down even more.

Not sure this cat played against Illinois- if he did he sure did not show up as Leshoure gashed Baylor.
