Do you guys think he will have a chance to make the team the next year? I know it depends on the new coaching staff and their offensive philosophy.

He is worth a shot. He could have come in handy this year.

I'm going to say it's 50/50

He'd be a good investment if we can pay him with Big Macs.

What's the chances of him showing up in camp in shape?

I like to think the kid realizes he is in his last chance saloon and it happens to be with his hometown team. If that can't motivate him he doesn't deserve another shot.

I think he's got it locked up, unless they bring in some competition for him.

I hope you're right because there is definitely a slot for him unless the new HC changes everything.

I expect him to be given a shot in camp, since he's already under contract for 2011.

But he needs to show up in shape and motivated if he wants to stick around beyond first cuts.

I would gladly run for a TD tomorrow for a hamburger today.

I hope it makes the best out of it. I wanted Denver to draft him coming out of college and I think he would be perfect for a zone blocking scheme (hint hint).

Name all the RB's that have come back from a torn achilles?

That's your answer.

He's at least worth a shot, good runner around the goal line.

Him and Tebow would make a pretty tough combo.

I've seen a guy try to rehab that. I can't imagine Lendale White coming back any time soon. I hope his drive and desire to get back to football will push him through that rough rehab, because it would be really easy for him to spin out right now into a ditch.

If he is able to come back from a major injury, why wouldnt you do it unless the HC thinks it is a complete waste of time. Is he rehabbing? Since it is basically off season from him, does the current staff (and players) know if he has been dedicated to coming back for 2011? Hey Ramblin, love the enthusiasm since he hates Notre Dame.....GO SC!

I'd rather look at Bush as a FA from Oakland as the bruiser because I don't trust Lendale White much. But no reason to not give him some looks and see if he is working hard.

Lendale still has a 4 game suspension hanging over him for violating the substance abuse policy.

I stand corrected. I didn't think you could serve suspensions while on IR, but I appear to be wrong.

It'll all depend on how well he works his way back into shape.
I think that's the key factor right there...

The other thing to consider too is that you know with all the inactivity he's going to be like 300lbs of baby fat by the time he can work out hard again.

They had a short interview with him on TMZ , must of been a month after his injury or so, about to go dine at a restaurant in Hollywood. He was all decked out smiling. I remember thinking the Broncos just got their azzes beat, now they show him smiling having good times.

You'd know better than anyone here, although I'm sure you might find someone who thinks they're an expert, no doubt.

What's your prognosis Doc? Do these types of injuries really heal, or do they just staple, sew, and screw them back together, and cross fingers?

Curious.

I think he would make a great addition! As long as he stays out of trouble and stays in shape.
