Lloyd has been absolutely tremendous this year. I can't believe a guy with that much talent took this long to dominate. Now, if he can string another couple years together (with Thomas hopefully developing into a monster, as well) Tebow will have an amazing core of receivers to throw to. Definitely one of the areas for optimism on this team.

Brandon Lloy will definitely want his contract redone after the season (1 year left).

What are we to do? Champ is coming up, top 5 pick to sign, redo Lloyd's contract, Ryan Harris, Prater....free agent signings like a receiving TE?

We are going to see how committed Bowlen is to winning. You can't keep having a talent drain and think you can win (Cutler, Marshall, Scheffler, Hillis, A. Smith).

There is a possibility that our two best players stats wise won't be be back (Orton and Lloyd) and our best defensive player wont be back (Bailey).

Come on Bowlen, step up.

His paycheck is going to be a lot bigger next year, and not because of the escalator but because of either a contract extension, trade or Vincent Jackson type holdout.

Brandon Lloyd has had an exceptional year.

72 receptions for 1,375 yards and 10 TDs.

Of his 72 receptions, 67 resulted in a first down....an outstanding ratio.

Not surprising. From what I had been told the rest of the line was Pro Bowl material as well. Guess that was a little exaggerated.

Jake Long is still getting the most pro-bowl votes for AFC tackle and one of the chargers' guard got voted in as a starter. That should tell you all you need to know about how legitimate pro-bowl voting for OL is. Offensive linemen get in almost exclusively on name-recognition, not by actually deserving the honor.

Asked if he wanted to tell those three teams: ”told you so,” Lloyd said half-good naturedly, half-seriously: “”No, I want to say, ‘(Bleep) you.’ And I mean that in the most professional way.”

After about 3 seconds of stunned silence, Broncos media relations director Patrick Smyth jumped into the call: “Anything else for Brandon, guys? I have receivers coach Adam Gase here … ”

I gotta bad feeling that we are going to see the biggest holdout in NFL history next year.
