So it's Christmas eve, we have all completed shopping for others and baking cookies and gave out the Yule logs to the mailman and sang carols by the fire and it is now Christmas eve and your ready to get the little ones in bed.

What do you want to find under the tree tomorrow that has your name on it?

BTW World Peace is not an option

I really want to find this under my tree with my name (or hell even my kids name) on it.

Korg Monotron

It is only $59 bucks and has a sweet analog filter.

Just a good day for my family, we all pretty much have everything we want and need. Just having a good day and a good meal with my family is all I can ask for.

Alright, I actually don't want for anything this year (at least in the budget range of my gift givers), but I would love a new TV for the bedroom.

Well I flew down to Florida for the first time for Christmas, so my parents gave me my gifts a couple days before we left.

Pretty good lot this year, I must say.

Down comforter
J-Crew military grade peacoat
COD Black Ops
Fallout New Vegas
The Town on DVD
One of those chainsaw-carving-art deals - in shape of a bear - pretty cool

Couple other small things coming tomorrow I'm sure, but that's a pretty good Christmas for a 22 year-old bachelor.

There are more fun things to do in the bedroom than watching TV, there's a reason the second best TV in the house goes in the kids room.:sunshine:

If world peace isn't an option, can I at least get a good GM and a couple of legit D-linemen for the Broncos?

That's a lot to ask of even Santa. If only one of those happened I would be happy.

I would love for my son in Minnesota to be here with his family but that's a gift for next year. My absolute joy comes from the sub for Santa my family does each year and watching my grandkids open their gifts. It's nice being able to do for them what I couldn't always do for my own kids. I am truly blessed and that's the greatest gift of all.

I just had the best Christmas present I could've gotten. My oldest daughter who my ex has turned against me and I haven't seen in 5 yrs showed up at the house and stayed all day and we worked everything out, it was so awesome!!

I'm one happy dad tonight and that was the best present I could've hoped for

I would love a new vocal mic and a new mac for my Logic, but that'll have to wait.

When you get beyond the college age and you arent married, you rarely get cool stuff. :)

Thats quite a gift to have given to you. Not something you could have earned, but something that had to be worked out in her heart. Its these times that reminds us just how deep is the love of God.

Well to Oubronco, that is just wonderful. Glad to hear it.

As for my wishes this year, mostly I just to finally get out of London Heathrow today so I can see my family since my original flight got shelved on Monday because the English airport people are incapable of handling 13 inches of snow (that happened on Saturday) in any kind of timely manner. I would also like it if my ex would stop contacting me. You would think the police report would be enough, but evidently, crazy is as crazy won't stop text messaging.

But all crankiness aside, I am also thankful for my family who I hope to see shortly and my new extra large 12 lb nephew. Between him and his older Brother (who 4 years ago came in around 11lb 12 oz or something) I plan to make them into future Defensive Ends or Linebackers for the Denver Broncos, despite my brother's bizarre dislike of the NFL (I don't get it because my dad used to be a Defensive End in College, but okay).

All the best to you guys this Christmas and New Years. And oh say to the very nice fellow, NFLBronco trust me my friend you could date so much better than me and I hope you find it. Cheers. ;D

Its pretty special to have that relationship "born again" on Christmas eve. You both will remember it for the rest of your lives. Its something that she can tell her kids about when they grow up, and something that can be a "pillar of faith" in your family long after you have left this world.

Run with it like AD storming for the end zone.

A good book

On the broader front

Justice
A positive resolution for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq
A resolution to the conflict in the Cote d'Ivoire
An uptick in the global economy - for the US... a newfound appreciation for saving
An end to sex trafficking
An end to Korean tension
For Haiti to catch a break
For China to learn the value of human rights
For Washington to be less corrupt on both sides
For more traveling and less spending
For Heathrow to get their **** together
For good things to all

For the troops up in Iraq and Afghanistan to have a mortar, roadside bomb, IED free day..unfortunately that prolly wont happen!! Someone died today giving us the right and the freedom to sit in our homes to open presents and sit around the table with our families to a nice home cooked meal. I'm to deployed but i'm not in near the dangers these men are in on a daily basis. I want to go ONE day without seeing an e-mail about a fallen warrior ceremony. God bless these brave men who have paid the ultimate sacrifice and to their families who will find out there son/daughter/mom/dad/husband/wife has been killed in action!!

GOD BLESS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
