I supported him up until video gate and saw fans displeasure in stands and no shows. I thought it is too broken at that point to give him another year.

I wanted to give McD one more year to clear HC off the books before we went new direction and hire a top coach. I was worried a new coach this year would be a t mobile walmart clerk type hire ie kubes.

I just watched "Pillars of the Earth" , it is a great BBC series that centered around the building of a cathedral.

Anyway it was kinda Shakespear for Americans, it had all the Shakespearian themes and plots but without all the great lines.

So in this series the king, who's heir was killed, dies and new successor starts a war of succession and at one point he loses and all those who sided with the old king were called out and killed or banished etc... but her lies the rub. The new Queen can't hold the kingdom and the 2nd king takes back over so there is another round of call outs and killing, meanwhile over some 40 years the serf's manage to build Kingsbridge Cathedral which still stands today over 900 years later...

I suggest you all give it a view great stuff with some quenching of wenches.

It is a good miniseries, but I love the book more. It's fabulous being in England and seeing things I could imagine from the story. But I love history, what can I say. ;D

This is exactly the kind of I TOLD YOU SO bullcrap we don't need, and should not tolerate. And I say this as a user who was mostly right these last two years. But even though I had it right, in some ways I wish I numbered among the 'nuthuggers' as you call them. Their fan status remained intact ... they were abusive sometimes (lots of the time), but they were willing to accept and get behind the changes. Myself and some others like me coddled our disappointments far too long, longer than a decent fan probably should.

I'll admit I never liked Josh. Not his personality nor the way he carried himself. But fact is, the kid got a raw deal. Bowlen half-assed the whole process, mailed it in in the fog of whatever's ailing him. Josh may have issues with the rules, but even so, he deserved better.
