The fact that this crap show , all the other singing shows , dancing shows , skating shows , and basically 99.9 % of all reality shows (even tho Glee is more like Cop Rock in a school and not a reality show) are on T.V. is a check mark on the side of how stupid we are as a people...
Like last night someone in my facebook friends list (a female) was talking about how much they can't wait till the new season of Jersey Shore because they are all so cute and funny and I wanted to punch them in the face... And 2 mins later someone was talking about how good the Glee is and instead calling them both stupid and losing some friends I just came here and took my hate out on Gaff in a few threads and felt better about it...
But tv is totally aimed at morons , dreamers , and people who love to watch a train wreck now ... Besides the economy sucking and reality tv being cheap to make I think people just love to watch crap they wish they could do like american idol , or stuff they like to watch others fail at like those silly wipe out and skating with the stars shows.
But for the most part I want to punch the people who watch this crap and kill the ones who talk about it and want to get all into and care about the people in the shows.
lol. Cop Rock. Now that was must see TV.

which show? Glee or Vampire Diaries? Glee is about a bunch of well high schoolers in a Glee Club who sing and put on shows, but there is this freakin hysterical cheerleading coach who is very funny and evil.
Vampire Diaries is about a town infested with Vampires, werewovles, and witches and other assorted supernatural things. The girl is in love with the nicer of the two vampire brothers and she is a doppleganger for this evil vampire chick Katherine. It's basically like Dark Shadows for teens.

while I can't claim the same reason, I have to admit Ian and his very pretty eyes hold a certain charm. I always have liked these scifi horror shows, but I still prefer Buffy the Vampire slayer and Angel..generally just better written. But given the current crop, Vampire Diaries, Twitlight and True Blood, I tend towards Vampire Diaries. True Blood is a bit over the top, though some of the guys are hot and Twitlight just irritates me to my core.

While I'm a fan of looking at the chicks, the only good to come out of reality TV is a couple of home-made porn movies after the 15 minutes for the respective actress ends. If California is where all the reality shows happen, I'm headed that way with a shovel and I'll have it floating off into the ocean before I come home.

While some love the drama that surrounds the man, I truly would enjoy it if he would just go away. I'm not going to sit around talking about how much I'd like the guy to go away every day - it would defeat the point.

Chicks though? They never lose games for you, they never take over the MNF set, and they'll occasionally make you a sandwich. Do we really need to take a vote?

if their were sexy pictures of that chick he was bangin around with I bet it would have lasted longer. ..... even if the topic had nothing to do with her.
threads peeps are not caring about + hot chick inserted at end of rant = long thread life.

yeah S. California is great I'm sure
the ungodly amounts of traffic, the state government broke, constant earthquakes, fires every year, high cost of living, unable to afford to buy a decent house to live in, smog.....you have fun with all of that...we'll take our midwestern girls and run with that
you can have barbie and her fake boobs
so you love the high cost of living and over population? Not to mention most of the southern CA girls you are talking about are vain, shallow, hollywood wannabes
cool...you keep plucking that chicken
There are ways around every problem.
I live less than 10 minutes from my job, and that's taking the streets. Awesome!
State government is broke, well I have money in my pocket. Bills are paid and the street in front of my place is newly paved.
We haven't had an earthquake since '94. If I don't feel like getting up and running for cover, I don't consider it an earthquake.
I don't live near areas where wild fires occur.
High cost of living... yeah, okay, that's true. But you're in LA! It's worth it. I've lived here my entire life. I've traveled around, and there aren't very many places that I'd move to.
Smog? I can't think of a day where I walked outside and said, man, it's smoggy. I rarely ever think about it. Really thinking about it, the only people who ever bring up the smog are people who don't live here and are talking bad about the place.
"most of the southern CA girls you are talking about are vain, shallow, hollywood wannabes".
You must be watching too many of those reality shows or TMZ. It all depends what circles you roll with. If you're hanging around Hollywood, sure, there are a lot of fakes there. But the Hollywood crowd is a small fraction of the Los Angeles population. I have a very active dating life and I go after attractive women. Most aren't the Hollywood type. Really thinking about it, only one woman I dated was that fake Hollywood type. I stopped seeing her. Most women I come across aren't that, so it's not a problem at all.

Colorado is third in the US in micro-breweries per-capita, slightly behind Oregon and Maine.
Colorado is first, however, in number of independently-owned bars and restaraunts per capita, and it also has far more brewpubs like Wynkoop or Rock Bottom.
On beer advocate's 100 beers to have before you die, Colorado and Oregon each had one - Stone Imperial IPA (Oregon) and I forgot the one from Wynkoop they listed, but Belgium dominated like half of the list.

Call me a freak if you want but I don't like Wynkoop. Now that being said I have only tried 3 of there brews and I understand they have many more.
I will say I am kinda weird when it comes to beer. I don't like beer that has an overbearing hops flavor to it. I like being able to taste the different grain structures used.
Also this just give me another great reason to loves what comes of of CO good beer and good football.

RE: Beer Advocate list. Russian River is really popular with beer snobs because they basically do a lot of really weird things. A LOT of sours and other beers that only high-end beer snobs can really claim to appreciate. I like Russian River (Pliny the Elder is a great beer), but I think the folks at Beer Advocate really overrate it.
On to the meat. My GOD you people kill me. Colorado's beer scene is the finest in the country and maybe in the world. They hold the Great American Beer Festival (ranked as THE best place in the world to drink beer on this list: http://allaboutbeer.com/live-beer/culture/2008/05/the-growler-list-125-places-to-have-a-beer-before-you-die/) in Denver for a reason.
This year the festival sported 151 judges from 10 countries judging a staggering 3,523 different beers in 79 categories.
The list of breweries along the front range is just ridiculous. There are the big ones:
New Belgium - Fort Collins (Fat Tire, 1554, Sunshine, etc...)
ODell - Fort Collins (90 Schilling)
Great Divide - Denver (Yeti, DPA)
Then there are the absolute slew of really great microbreweries:
Avery - Boulder
Twisted Pine - Boulder
Left Hand - Longmont (the Milk Stout Nitro should be on everyones bucket list)
Oscar Blues - Longmont
Tommy Knockers - Idaho Springs (Their Oak Aged Bock is outstanding)
Ska Brewing and Durango Brewing - (not strictly front range, but still really good)
That's not a complete list, but it's a start.
Then we have the list of craft brews that are up and coming:
Strange Brewing - Denver (these guys are HUGE Broncos fans and their brewery is really close to the stadium. You can find me watching most away games here. They're doing some really cool stuff, try the Cherry Stout for something really interesting.)
DryDock - Aurora (Yes, Aurora. They do a Belgian that I really like. Their pumpkin ale this year was the best I've had).
Upslope - Boulder
Grand Lake Brewing - A nut brown that's great.
One in Colorado Springs that escapes me right now.
On top of that the brewpub scene is retarded. Probably the largest national brewpub Rock Bottom is based in Boulder. C.B. Potts is based out of Fort Collins. Denver sports Wynkoop Brewing (not my favorite, but a lot of folks swear by it), Breckenridge Brewpub. Mountain Sun in Boulder.
There are a veritable ton of smaller ones sprinkled throughout the front range.
To top that off, our freaking Governor-elect made his money as a brewer (Wynkoop).
So Oregon, I politely ask you to step the frick off. I like what your doing. I really do. But when it comes to Beer, Colorado is king. Anyone who doesn't believe is welcome to come join us the week of September 26 - October 1st. We'll spend the week at the single most prestigious beer drinking event in the country.
Maybe there will be a home game.

Wow Um CO does have some fine breweries and I enjoy quite a few of the myself. But Oregon is an amazing state for micro.
I would put any of these breweries against those from CO and I would even go as far to say some are better then most of yours. But even if you call it a tie. when people think of OR they think Micro when they think of CO they think of Coors. :~ohyah!:
10. Bridgeport (Portland)
9. Full Sail (Hood River)
8. Deschutes (Bend)

Nope they are right on a pier next to the Ocean. Great place. Just on the southern side of the New Port Bridge.
16 for New Orleans on that beer list is hilarious. We have no major microbrews made here. Abita, our local beer of choice, is made in Abita Springs which is 1 hr to the North of the City.
However, Nola finishing #1 in people watching, cocktail hour, singles\bar scene, New Years Eve and neighborhood joints, I totally agree with.

Oh I am equal opportunity. I saw this lovely dutch man in the Netherlands some time ago and he was kind of a dirty blonde..crazy tall and gorgeous. I am open minded about my beer and my men, but I have preferences just like guys do. I mean most guys prefer their girls, young, tiny, pert, with large bosoms, but I imagine they make exceptions (rarely, but they probably do). :curtsey:
Age: young, but because I'm pretty young myself
Size: Not tiny... I like taller women, but I did buy a girl a dress once. She was a size 7... she was a pretty decent size for me.
Pert: don't know what that means, but probably.
Boobs: more about the shape and feel than the size... 34B-C is perfect... honestly, I'd rather have a size too big than too small, though.

Wow, now that is specific. I just like dark haired light eyed guys as a generality. I've dated blondes, red heads, brunettes, very dark haired guys. Latinos, Anglos, African-Americans (and even a guy actually from Africa), fat, thin, hairy, bald, Americans, Germans, Dutch, English, Italian, younger, older, same age. I won't date younger anymore because the last one ended catastrophically. The thing they all had in common was being funny, smart and kind. The ones that ended badly were the ones who were too dependent and clingy and irresponsible.
Welcome to Match.com ROFL! Gotta love the mane.
1 note I like smaller boobs. I had a girl once with big ones and they were like helicopter blades when we were getting busy then they would just fall down in her arm pits. YUCK ! Small boobs nice butt, thats what I'm talking about.
