I think the investment solution he is touting is not the real story here. He says at one point to find a place in the countryside and have 6 months stores of basic supplies that is the degree of severity we are facing. Listen to his reasoning as to why these difficult time will happen. True he is selling his recommendations but his research is sound and backed by several historical examples. We are not too big to fail.

4 years ago i remember hearing about how they were gonna start using a basket of currencys for all oil transactions and that the american dollar was gonna tank, i remember argueing about it at work.

id like the righties to pay attention to the part where he says wages are NOT the problem, and id like the lefties to pay attention to the part where he says business costs and regulations are the problem.

all in all i found it interesting, but man it was way too long, if i couldnt turn the volume up no way i would have sat and watched it

How about a summary?

How about a summary?

he goes on about how things are, and secret meetings and talk of the dollar crashing, then he talks about what happend in yugoslavia says its coming here, keeps alluding to 4 secret steps that hell tell later, and at the end if you want the secret steps join his club for a special half price deal of 50 bucks

he goes into more detail than that, but thats the jist of it

my favorite part was where he says why organized labour and the high cost of labour in america arnet the problem, that it is the government regulations and taxes.

see im generally right leaning i do however appreciate the collective bargaining process, and i think contracts must be honored, which is why i had such a problem with the whole auto bailout thing, workers who bargained for an hourly wage had to reopen the contract, yet bosses who had bonuses didnt have to ? the whole thing just stunk. I forget the exact numbers but i read somewhere that in 2000 GM had 100,000 employees, sold 4.3 billion cars and were makin money hand over fist, yet in 2008 with just 30,000 employees selling 4.2 billion cars they were bankrupt, and yet it was sitll all blamed on the "high union wages" and it was mostly the farmers doing the complaining, farming the most subsidized thing anybody can do, yet they complained. anyhow

I can understand why you would see it that way, after all it is a sales pitch but there are some historical comparisons in the article that are interesting.

im really curious how bad things get on this side of the border if the stuff hits the fan in the us, i mean we are so dependent on you guys. I wonder if we suffer the same fate, i mean 15 years ago our dollar was worth 60 cents us, now its pretty well par.

I know we arent getting hit as bad as you guys right now, but whats to stop you from fleeing to the border ? we arent gonna keep you out, half our border guards still dont have guns.

i watched the whole thing. basically he says the dollar will implode. get out of dollars buy silver. store food. and buy his magazine.

i think a better strategy would be:
end the fed.
enact term limits.
floss your teeth
and alternate hands when masturbating.

There are a lot of big crayon pieces like this on the Internet where they are essentially ask you to invest in a commodity of their choosing. I got in on Gold late but I think it is going to continue to rise. Water is a commodity. Coffee for awhile did quite a bit better than oil.

He mentions that eventually the dollar will no longer be the reserve currency the price for this will be calamity. This explains why the "ruling class" is acting like rats and why even Geitner let that conversation slip out.

He mentions that our government is printing money to eliminate debt. Who knew! He mentions that Oil politics is shifting just like the questions regarding reserve currencies. He does not explain why the Euro is taking a pounding what exactly the G20 are really talking about. He is taking a far and away view to see how many concerned people he can enlist.

The problem with all these investment opportunities is ultimately it comes down to timing which is not something that comes in the starter kit. You have to figure that out for yourself.

The truth which he is simplifying is that we are no longer going to be the center of the universe and our consumer based "free market" is going to take an oopsy. Who knew?

Knowing is not enough and denial is the norm. It's going to be bloody.
