"I am very grateful to Pat Bowlen and the Broncos' organization for giving me the opportunity to be the Head Coach of such a proud franchise. I would like to thank all of the people who helped us over the last two years. I am especially appreciative of the efforts of every player, coach and member of the personnel department who worked so hard every day. I wish Pat Bowlen and the Broncos' organization nothing but the best in the future."

I wish him well. He did try his best but was in over his head. I think he will be successful if he gets a second chance but he will have to re-invest himself as a offensive coordinator somewhere.

He would make a good offensive coordinator for some team.

See there is a difference. The "dickholes who blindly supported him" don't go around with some sort of asinine sort of entitlement. You see these "anti-McDaniels" people run around like they're arm chair coaches. They run around as if they're smarter and bigger than the Denver Broncos organization. They REALLY think they're smarter than the HC and NFL head coaches who spend a ridiculous amount of hours every week on their profession.

These anti-mcdaniels are hindsight 20/20 people.

The same people who called moreno the biggest bust of all time and would not admit to how bad the oline was blocking. The same people who claimed that Cutler was God. The same people who claimed that Marshall's leaving would kill this offense. Same people who thought Scheffler was the second coming of Tony Gonzalez.

I'm a little surprised it came before the end of season. Would've preferred not having an interim coach and now having to pay three coaches, but it is what it is.

At any, rate to Mr Josh McDaniels: Sir, I thank you for your service to our great franchise. I haven't agreed with all your decisions sir, but I sincerely believe you were trying your best to do the right thing. I do applaud your enthusiasm and your skill with Quarterbacks. You do have some very good qualities, that I expect will eventually, upon more years of experience, lead you to a successful career in the NFL. I am sorry it didn't come to fruition with our team. But I hope for all of us, that our team moves forward and successfully rebuilds itself and that you and your family build a good life whereever you end up.

I wish we had a QB the caliber of Jay Cutler and his 9-3 Chicago Bears. I definitely envy their position. We used to do that on the regular. You might not remember it though, you were still dressing up and dancing around to the Power Rangers in the late 90's, early 00's.

Who are you talking to?

Never watched the Power Rangers.

Cutler didn't do jack when he was here.

Cutler isn't the reason the Bears are 9-3.

Offense is ranked worse than 20th.

Defense is top five.

Even someone as stupid as you can do the math, even with all that man juice in your eyes.

You are wrong. He absolutely is. Bears are playing like one of the most balanced teams in the NFL right now and he is doing his part. 5 or 6 4th quarter game winning drives proves the guy is delivering to win games. The Cutler haters need to stop with this nonsense.

It's always been my team, has it ever been yours?

No never the 34 years I watched them and cheered for then was just to fool you into thinking I was a fan.

What a stupid childish thing to say. No wonder you change your name every few weeks. You even embarrass your self. How can you claim to be this great fan you can't even stand behind what you say, instead you change you name in hopes of distancing yourself from your poor takes. You're not even loyal to yourself.

You're questioning my loyalty after you've said you would enjoy the raiders beating us if McDaniels was to become their HC?
You're wishing our team to lose?

And the only reason he's in a position to make those game-winning drives (besides the refs deciding that a catch isn't in fact a catch)? Probably that elite defense. Cutler is maybe #5 on the list of reasons the bears are doing as well as they are. He's getting paid like the #1 reason though.

Regards,
Miss I.

Very Classy Mom.

You can question whatever you want. At the end of the day, you don't know who I am, and what I do in my life.

You however, have told all your life story here for everybody to know.

Thanks Josh, you got rid of two players I hated cheering for and I loved your attitude. Good luck in the future.

I'm actually down with this....it was a mistake to fire him at this point in time.

HC Eric Studebaker?!?!?! Who the hell is that? Oh, a reject from the f'n Bills system? Yikes!

Oh well....double Rock and Rye and seven Carlings!!!

Studville will steady the ship for ..4 games and then fulfill the Rooney rule when interviews start, giving us time to get a GM in place before head coach hopefully.

Josh is going to be a great coach - eventually. This experience should have taught him that a head coach needs to be a leader first and foremost. Needs to compromise - needs to be respectable - needs to be measured - needs to have a eye on the future.

It won't be here. I would have loved it - and I am sure eventually he will be a great head coach. But it wasn't going to be here in Denver, and that's his own damn fault.

You know what Miss I, I've lived a long time and I never gave a rat's ass about being "cool".

By uncool, I simply meant wishing harm or illwill on anyone, much less a team you support, is crap. The way people treat others in good and bad times defines who they are and how they will be treated. this is something that applies to everyone, not just you Baja. I just don't understand people wishing harm on others. I have an exboyfriend who recently threatened to hurt me, had to file a police report on him, etc and even I don't wish him ill. I just want him to leave me the **** alone and move on with his life, but I don't wish him ill will because that reflects on me and it will only bring me bad things in the long run by acting like a jackass. That, in a more wordy format, was what I meant when I said you were being uncool.

okay, I don't actually understand this response to my post. I am not upset, just curious.

My point simply was about wishing ill will on anyone, much less a team someone is supposed to be supporting is kind of a crappy thing to do and only begets other bad things.

Josh McDaniels will be around in the NFL for a long time. He'll demolish the Broncos next time around...

When he wasn't here he demolished the Broncos... and according to the fans he demolished the Broncos when he was here too.

LOL....as long as he isn't our HC, he doesn't really scare me

He was completely average as an OC. I submit to you, the Patriots are a better team now since they run the ball and don't go spread formation every single play like playing Madden.

I submit to you, the Patriots would have won the Superbowl the year he was OC if it wasn't for Josh and his horrible offensive play calling that allowed Tom Brady to get murdered.

Josh isn't the wunderkind you appear to think he is.

they changed their style when they got rid of Moss, so the first few weeks they weren't running the ball as much, then they had some injuries to deal with.

I think the last few weeks they are running the ball well and they have improved offensively a great deal
