He's probably in shock right now. I know all he tried to do was win...he looks like he's laughing in one of those "what the ****, did that really just happen?" moments.

Sad day for Bronco land.

I hope everyone here realizes that there's a giant possibility we're going to be crappy for a few more years now. THAT is the most frustrating part of this whole thing to me. "The fans" clamored and Bowlen heard, but in all reality, in two more years (the amount of time IMO it's going to take with a new hc, new def scheme, new off scheme etc) josh could probably have put together a winning team. Hell, next year I thought it was going to happen.

Anywho, I was a McD supporter, and hope the best for the guy. I still can't believe this really happened RIGHT NOW.

Blows my mind.

Go broncos.

I don't know why people are so upset on his behalf - he got as much or more of a chance than he gave his own players. It's only fitting he be given the same amount of time to fix it or hit the road. Perhaps this will give him the dose of humility he needs to coach in this NFL.

He'll be fine - I'm not too worried about a guy that will be paid six MILLION DOLLARS for brushing his teeth for the next couple of years.

I'm sure some owner can't wait to hand over control to the petulant retard that couldn't last 2 years with a golden ticket.

Was it the 1 player from drafts 2000-2005 still on the team or the #30 scoring defense? Or maybe the #31 rushing defense (YPC)? The 31st ranked D in terms of turnovers generated? Maybe the defense that gave up the 2nd highest average QB rating? The petulant douchebags he had as "team leaders" on offense? How about the team with no personnel department that required its first-time, youngest-in-the-league head coach to pull double-duty as HC and GM? Perhaps the unrealistic expectations brought about by an 8-8 record despite being a team that gave up 78 more points during the season than it generated?

What was his "golden ticket" again?

What was his "golden ticket" again?

lol, way to ignore the years 2005-2008 in their entirety. you know, the drafts that produced multiple pro bowlers across the offense, as well as Elvis Dumervil. Please also leave out future HOFer Champ Bailey, the tons of picks and money left to pick up players to help the defense. Just pretend that Jay Cutler, Brandon Marshall, and Peyton Hillis werent on the team and making next to no money.

We get it. You are a McDaniels apologist with no grasp of reality and not an objective bone in your body.

i mean im not a McD hater, but it kinda looks like he has the expression " ok bill my mission is complete, time to return to home base"

the photo is cropped, but does anyone know if McD still has Massachusetts tags on his vehicle?

The HC position in Denver was widely considered the crown jewel of coaching vacancies. Not my words. It certainly wasn't comparable to St Louis. It is now. Sorry your boy was such a dunce.

From The Denver Post, says he smiled and honked a few times on the way out.
