say waht you want about mcdaniels and the direction, clearly there is some stuff not working, despite a late surge (great team play in final quarter btw). but much to the disapointment of many people here, there will be no mutiny or coup, nor should there be. something needs to change soon however.

That's b/c if McD is fired a lot of them will be out of jobs.
The stat for players no longer playing in the NFL on Shanahan's last yr is going be about the same for this group of Broncos.

so?

Players liked and defended Rod Marinelli for the Lions back in 2008. That didn't stop him from getting fired at the end of the season.

If he keeps losing he's going to get canned regardless of what anyone says.

I think our D would be better if we used 2009's 1st round pick more to shorten games and control clock but Chucking it deep to Lloyd is sooooo cool, the guys back at Canton High can't dial that **** up!

Homegrowing a real DL and a safety would be nice.

Answer: "attention" when it comes to money and player personnel decisions. I'm with Lynch on this one. This franchise has ignored the D for about a decade now making due with older vets and journeyman younger talent.

McD is working himself out of a job. When he finally gets canned (either this offseason or next if he can't produce a winning season next year), those same players will be praising the new coach, saying how much they believe in him and how different things will be. It's all just fluff. McD, his staff, and the players have done a horrible job and many of them won't be around much longer.

Actually I would rather see progress and potential than wins. Even Detroit and the Bills can make surging comebacks in garbage time. But none of us have shown any consistency week in or out.

I want to see them commit to the run game, control the LOS on BOTH sides of the ball and find something on D that shows we really are Doom away from being good. Right now we need a starting NT, Starting DE, ILB to play opposite DJ, 2 Safety's, Champ as a FS please. I think the young CB's will be better with a legit front 7 pass rush.

It will be interesting to see how mCd reponds to his 1st hand slap as an HC.

Joe Mays craps the bed in coverage. He is an early down hero who gets owned in the passing game.

I still think Hunter is a better all round option but he is best suited as a BU/rotational guy. Outside of DJ, Bannan and maybe if Ayers gets better as he gets healthier we have no front 7 to speak of.

It appeared that the D was keying on Jackson yesterday, they wanted Brandford to beat us in the passing game...guess what he and Billy Bagama(sp) did just that.

Bull****.

He is making big plays behind an AWFUL OL, making mad to mediocre WRs look good.

If you saw the play he made to Hester down the sideline after escaping pressure, a play Kyle Orton could NEVER even dream of making, which got a huge 1st down, you would understand how Cutler is willing that offense to wins.

Unfortunately, this is true...
