DT out... so he could see more snaps with the offense.

McD talked about him in fairly glowing terms in his presser on Thursday.
Excited to see him get some real reps, be it this weekend or soon.

Without the snapped twig.

Indeed.

Personally, I'll be more than a little pissed if he doesn't twist his neck back and forth after his catches.

Let's start concertedly building towards the future. Getting future role players reps, confidence, and know-how. I don't want to win every game, I want the players who will play in 2011 to get better now, Decker included.

Guy looked promising in the preseason. Pretty pumped to see what he can do in the big time.

Why not, right?

It'll be good to see what he can do, should look a lot like McCaffrey.

I think that he might look a lot like a guy we used to have on the team a while back, McCaffery was his name, you guys remember him?

He reminds me of a taller Wes Welker.

Decker is a stud. I question McD's coaching and decision making...but, even I can't bitch about last year's draft. Sure, taking Tebow was very bold when you have so many needs...but, hey, I like me some Tebow. Add to that both Thomas and Decker along with Walton, Beadles and Cox...and you have a pretty darn good draft in my opinion.

Decker is a kid that can exploit the middle of the field. For whatever reason, we (Orton) does near nothing in the middle. All of our big yards go to the sidelines. I think part of that has to do with not having a receiving TE and the other has to do with the fact our receivers are outside or flanker type guys. Decker is a kid who can go over the middle, make the catch, take the hit...and move the chains. I hope he does well.

I am pumped to see Decker finally get some playing time. I know its been hard for him to get snaps because of the depth.

He's a part of this future and with the team being in the cellar, its high time for him to play and get some snaps.

I personally think the McCaffrey comparisons are purely racial. I see him as more of a Steve Watson type, or perhaps a smaller, more receiver-esque Gary Zimmerman.

Well, Decker had a couple of real-time catches. One big one. Not a huge game, but nice to see him out there contributing.
