Sarah Palin made her latest verbal gaffe on Wednesday, claiming North Korea is one of America's allies on Glenn Beck's radio show when asked how she'd handle the recent escalation between the two Koreas.

"This speaks to a bigger picture here that certainly scares me in terms of our national security policy," the former vice presidential candidate said on Wednesday. "But obviously we've gotta stand with our North Korean allies."

Iraq could have been scored a zero I agree. His stated policy on the campaign trail was to leave as soon as possible. He didn't. In that view you can give him a zero for not executing his own policy. But I gave him a one because listened to his military advisors and kept the troops at reasonable levels in a controlled draw down. We would be at the exact same point we are now if Bush had a third term.

Afghanistan it is hard to argue he is doing much different than Bush. A few more troops but with a massive qualifyer about how long he intends to leave them there. Might as well not add the extra troops in first place. But he seems committed to seeing it through to a logical end so he gets a one. No doubt with Iraq being quiet Bush would have increased the intensity of the Afghan front if he were still in office.
