How could you even know he was on the field? Maybe they watched the SF game or something. I know he was on the field then, because he got flagged and cost us a TD.

He might actually fit there. Olines have to double up Seymore, Harris/Henderson inside. If he's healthy and has a speed rush, he might have some success going against right tackles.

Didn't the Raiders have to start a TE at offensive tackle when they played us? And if I recall correctly, he didn't give up a single QB pressure.

He's a stiff, but comparing Oaklands defense to the crap Bowlen put out this year is laughable. Moss might a sack or two. With their linebackers, his run defense wouldn't be such a liability.

What he lacks in size, he makes up in intellect. He was picked up for his football IQ & veteran leadership qualities:

Raiders figure Broncos were wrong about other players they cut loose so why not. There is a real chance the Broncos right now is where talent comes to die.

I think it's more that they've seen the guy, and they only had two healthy DEs on their roster. But since they may have the best DT's in the league right now, and the only rush defense he has to do in hold onto the RT and keep him off McClain, it may not be the stupid move it appears at first sight. All he has to do is hold on runs and do an outside rush on passes to clear out for Seymour and maybe pick up a sack if the pocket collapses up the middle an the qb runs into him.

I can see why they picked him up. Not only do the Raiders still have a game with us, but there's still games with the Chargers and Chiefs still on their schedule. Also They still have the Jags and Colts which we've already played this year. That makes four teams Moss has gone through preps for already this year plus his old team that he'll actually be motivated to play hard against. Moss making the cut the next season is doubtful IMO however.

Given the fact that most of the problems this guy has had have had were never his fault to begin with, and the fact that it was well known by all the fans that he was drafted for the future not his ability to immediately contribute, the hate on this board for this guy is freaking stupid. As for his intelligence, he seems about as with it as many of the people on this board, and probably received a lesser education than most of his harshest critics.

I hope the dude makes it somewhere if for no other reason than to watch the reaction here, which would rival the Hillis fiasco or worse.

Ugly Duck

When a player like Moss is released, traded, waived etc from one team and goes to another and explains to his new team (raiders) the old teams (Broncos) play calling signals. Is that a violation similar to what the Broncos ex video guru recently experienced?

Unreal. The guy just doesn't have any game at all. Not big enough to stop the run. Doesn't have enough moves to rush the passer. Sucks in pass coverage. He was a huge bust. He was drafted very high on potential alone but I think everybody knows playing well in college doesn't guarantee you any kind of success in the NFL. I doubt he earns any kind of real time on the field for the Raiders.

Maybe his injury has somethign to do with his current play but he needs to play better next year.

He was our best run stopper before he broke his foot. Something is up with him, whether it's rust or the foot's not healed fully (more like it's healed but he doesn't fully trust it yet)
