What are your thoughts? Think it will keep working or will defenses adjust? Would you like to see it on 3-and-1 and 4th-and-1?

The package contains six offensive lineman, three tight ends, one fullback and Touchdown Jesus. It's probably closer to 3,000 pounds when you factor in roster-weight exaggeration.

Daniel Graham - 257
Chris Clark - 315
Ryan Clady - 325
Zane Beadles - 305
J.D. Walton - 305
Chris Kuper - 303
Ryan Harris - 300
Richard Quinn - 255
Dan Gronkowski - 255

Tim Tebow - 245
Spencer Larsen - 243

Props to Dr. Broncenstein for naming it.

LOL How many teams are there where the QB out weighs the FB

I love the Tebow package in the red zone. I can't wait to see Tebow develope into a full time starter. He has the tools that will allow good coordinators to get creative and has already shown that he has no problem in the red zone.

Really need to figure a way to get Jamal Williams involved instead of Quinn. Two fullbacks?

Can't remember who suggested it, but I love the idea of turning Joe Mays into a goal line fullback.

:strong:

Mays needs some short-yardage carries, imo.

I'm going to start having Mrs. Moose call my package the "Jumbo Jesus Package."

Certainly better than "2 minute specialist".

Obviously for short yardage situations.

Some NDSU fans speculated before the draft that some NFL scouts might see him as a fullback instead of a linebacker. I want to see this dude get a shot at a starting spot next year but not at FB...please one good LB converted is enough...we need some hitters on that defense.

Joe Mays at fullback. The thought makes my pants fit all funnylike.

Jumbo Jesus Package

Tebow behind the center... Larsen on his left and Mays on his right.

Which way is he going?

I agree. Larsen is doing fine there. The last thing we need to do is disrupt two positions that are finally settling in.

I don't think teaching Mays 4-5 plays on offense would affect his work at linebacker.

Has Joe Mays earned the "MF" moniker?

Old man, it is Tebow we are talking here. He parts the players in front of him as he skips to the endzone. If it is the Jesus package, dont you think he would use the gifts God gives him?

I love the Jumbo Jesus set. I don't think it can be "stopped". Of course anybody can blow a reception or a blocking assignment so there is no such thing as a guaranteed TD. But it's not going to get shut down. Too many options. Only way it doesn't work is if Tebow regresses and I honestly don't see that happening.

Will be interested to see how Tebow performs after he takes some real hits. His runs thus far have been literally been sunday afternoon park strolls. He's not that fast (Vick) nor does he have the down field cannon (Vince Young). I think he's got a fair combination of size, speed, arm and just hopefully the accuracy.

We're def doing it right by taking 2-3 years to develop him before throwing him out for the slaughter.

Yeah, he doesn't have a cannon at all... those are throws Vince Young can easily make.
Hilarious!
