I know. Maybe all we did big picture was worsen out draft status. But the fact is we can still win the division and mathematically even make it in as a wild card.

Most off all, we beat the piss out of the Chiefs, who were probably thinking they were going to sweep us this year (and with good reason.) Congrats to Orton, Tebow, Thomas, Moreno and the Broncos on a great team win.

It's amazing what a good O-line will get you.

McDaniels is now .500 against the AFC West... better than his overall record. So much for the theory that he doesn't care about winning games unless teams are from the "east coast," whatever that means.

Agree, Kaylore... amazing the difference some blocking makes. Knowshon goes over 100 against a good defense, and it opened up the offense for us all day long.

Congrats to the guys for bouncing back.

Can we just enjoy a win without having to piss in someone else's cheerios? Unless that someone else is a Chief fan.

It was nice to see our offense finally get it going today. Now, lets see them sustain that kind of production for the rest of the season. I don't think it is going to happen, but I would love to finish 10-6. Make it happen guys.

Champ didn't play well today....but in the second half especially. And he broke up a 2 point conversion. not a TD pass. (he also got lucky he didn't get flagged for PI or holding on that play ..before the pass came).

At the same time he was on an island for soome LONG plays waiting for the rush to get to Casell, which it didn't usually. So it wasn't ALL on him. I do however note that Bowe and Cassel went to his side more than Cox, which was surprising,

As far as the defense giving up so many 2nd half points, McD wasn't happy about that last TD at ALL.

And the FG they gave up just before the 1st half ended NEVER should have happened. There was a CLEAR block in the back on the closest defender at KCs 5 yard line that the ref had a case of blindness on. And secondly they never should have tried that 58 yarder since there was clear PI on Lloyd on Ortons last pass, before that.

But what the hey...never let it be said that the Refs are our friends ( not to mention the challenge of Lloyds last TD being needed to get the score there).

That block in the back not called really pissed me off. It's not like it happened far away from the action, or far away from the refs, or it was in a pile and hard to see. No, it was 15 yards from TWO blind refs under the goalposts and right out in the open for everyone to see (except them I guess).

What is it with the refs and not seeing blocking in the back when we play the chefs?

Oh, he will come sooner or later. :~ohyah!:

Criticizing Moreno for not making a cutback here or a good enough move forward there, leaving yards on the field, yada, yada.

It's only one win, but one against a divisional rival and a big confidence booster going into the following weeks. This is the kind of execution we needed after the losses to the Bay Area Bozos.

Now the Oakland Raiders are the class of the division. We haven't said that in almost a decade. Wow.

Putting 14 up on our 1st 2 possessions took them out of their GP. It would be nice to see more of this. It was fun to see points scored in the 1st half, let alone the 1st quarter.

well this was the best game to watch so far this year
its amazing how when Knowshon actually gets lanes he makes good things happen, who would of thunk it...

still have reservations about our defense, but the offense was fantastic

a much needed win and now this team can take a deep breath and get ready for SD

btw who says we need Hillis
Did anyone see Larsens run? (just jk....kinda)

I am glad they are trusting "Thor's Hammer" more, gives the D yet another thing to have to defense. Today the D couldn't just key run on 1st down out of a 3 TE set, throw in the Trick pass back to Orton and the misdirection with Royal running and the D was on their heels early.

Good description of what went down...I couldn't believe it when they didn't flag that play...it wasn't even close to questionable...directly into the players back from directly behind. Ref blindness is pretty predictable when the Broncos are playing it seems, Its like they still think they have to make up for the Hoculi call at least once a game.

On the other hand I love the fact that the O line did NOT get a penalty call today. No false starts , no illegal formations, no holds. Great game and they kept Orton clean.

...

It's amazing what a good O-line will get you.

I think it all starts there. All season long, I've been hoping to see these guys jell a little bit, but it seemed like they just kept going backwards.

I thought they'd do better now that everyone is in the proper place and healthy ... but I didn't expect a performance like this.

It's a little too good to be true, but I'm hoping they took a big enough step forward that we can finally see them develop as we all hoped.

Ultimately, this team will go as far as those five guys can take it.

Losing for draft picks is stupid. You play hard and take the spot fate gives you period. No pro team would ever lose to get a higher pick. That would be the lamest **** any team ever did.

Besides often the 10th pick better then the 5th pick, not as good as the 15th pick. You just never know.

There are a couple qbs going to go top 5 so we will see. Lot's of teams may be trying to get into those top 10 spots. Maybe Broncos if they are in top 10 or so can move down and get more picks.
