this guy is ridiculous, still. on pace for 1756 yards, and has over 140 yards over the next guy, reggie wayne.

kyle orton on pace for over 5,000 yards, for those who care.

Bench him!

Why would we consider benching players when we are winning so much?

Lloyd was a nice pickup for sure. Well, at least we know that one area of the team that doesn't need a complete overhaul is the passing game!

Playing great, really proud of our receiving core. They could make a lot of QB's look good right now.

Lloyd has always had the skills to be a really good WR, he just had massive lapses in his game and squandered opportunities. Heck, there is a GIF out there of him ducking from a ball thrown to him as he's running a crossing route.

With that said, I'd be surprised if he comes even close to what he is on pace for.

Well, at least he is putting up points for my fantasy team this year.

he's always had talent but didn't put forth the effort (in SF, Wash, and Chicago) maybe the light has turned on for him but I am still waiting for the other shoe to drop....

The problem in the past for Lloyd was that he can't catch balls thrown right to him, (insert joke about Orton's accuracy) he was a human highlight reel of diving one-handed catches. Hit him in the hands and he would drop it. He seems to have overcome that this year. Maybe some good coaching?

Have you ever heard a negative word about his lack of effort since he's been here? Being inactive for 14 games last year had to be humbling and may end up being the best thing that happened in his pro career.

There's a lot of reasons we're losing games right now. But WR and QB positions are not the problem.

I'm happy for Lloyd he is about to have the best season ever in Denver for a WR named Brandon!

that is why I didn't mention his effort in Denver....only in the other stops.

Impossible. We don't have that. Have you not been hanging around? The entire coaching staff sucks and should be replaced immediately.

I am sorry, but I don't think Orton is immune from criticizm here even with his great yardage numbers. He doesn't put up points and he doesn't start out well in games; thus we get behind and he then puts up big numbers. Lets score on some opening drives then get another score in the first half then I will like what I see, but it never happens that way.

Loyd is playing very well though.

Brandon who?

I hope we keep Lloyd around for a few years, for sure.

His hands are about as sure as you can get, and he'll continue to be valuable as our young guys, particularly Thomas and Decker, develop.

WR is one of the few positions that this team is good at. The QB position may not be the biggest problem but it sure hasn't been part of the solution. Yards mean nothing. Where are the points? He is sure good at throwing with a ton of field in front of him. Where is Orton at the end of games? We have had a lot of failed drives at the end of games when we were in them. Until Orton proves he can play with some pressure(mental or physical) on him, I don't think his job should be safe.

Orton is what he is. He is a taller, stronger armed, better leader version of Brian Griese....

I agree that i dont think his job should be safe because obviously this offense needs an injection of SOMETHING, but having said that, Orton has played pretty well. If the team was stronger around him, im sure that'd he'd have more success.

Agree, and that includes the defensive side of the team. A few well timed 3 and outs and early leads could change many things for this team, on both sides of the ball.

Heres the question, would you trade him for a defensive player of equal value? preferably a DE? would you take a late 2nd to early 3rd for him?
