View Full Version : I think there is a very good chance we will lose to the 49ers

baja

The 49ers are loaded with talent they got a great running back and are a team that is due to put together game.

The Broncos are decimated with injuries and caught a very bad week to travel to London with all the doubt swirling around the team.

We sourly need the defensive leader on the field but Dawkins is not ready yet. We don't even know if we will have Cox, if not who will be our corners?

Very tough scenario to get a win in.

I know few will agree but this will be a tough game to win no matter who the coach is.

Totally Agree. They might be playing their backup QB though. Also, some banged up team showed up and played the jets well. Hopefully that team will return.

Think about it this is a game we should not continue to judge McD on.

Look at the amount of key injuries we have on D. You don't fire a coach when half of his team can't suit up.

hmm.every team has injuries..it's not like we were winning when they were healthy.
Don't give ****ty excuses.
Some teams are starting rookie QB's and they are showing more effort than our team.
What happened to our OL and running game??

Superior offensive and defensive lines, inferior quarterback. Orton will need to be on his game. Or possibly on Peyton's game.

We should not judge McDaniels for hypothetically loosing to a 1-6 team, because they are better then we are?

That's a first, even by Omane standards.

Are we really going to lose to San Fran?

I'd like to think that it really depends on whether the locker room has turned off McDaniels, and Carr is really a bad qb. But, Den's front seven sucks and SF's oline should improve as the year moves along, and they have Gore. Den's offense is one dimensional. So, assuming SF can control the clock and run it ... that's likely. Vernon Davis is banged up, and so is their center is out.

You forgot to mention Prater kicks the field goal from 76 yards out - Tebow is the holder, and we all know how talented first round FG holders are...

If we just play a 2-minute drill all game long (passing attack), we'll probably crush them. Orton gets into a great rhythm when he just drops back and throws. I have no idea WTF happened last game. If we try to have a balanced attack, it might just be our undoing...

yeah, most of them don't have a clue what is going on, they get more excited by FG's and kickoffs than anything else, so we could send to XFL teams over there and they wouldn't notice much of a difference

No, but they've already worked around it with a quick fix. The 9ers score will start with our 2nd digit on the scoreboard.

So... when you see the scoreboard Broncos 31 49ers 06... it won't be a good thing.

Heard an interesting tidbit from the presser today...something to the effect of - McDaniels was asked how they were going to handle this weird scheduling week. He responded by saying that when they were trying to decide which day to send the team over, he sent various personnel across the pond at different times in a week to get a feel for which day they would choose to send the team over. i.e., if getting there earlier vs later in the week would make a difference.

These are the types of attention to detail that I really like with McD, and hope that he can figure out a way to get this ship righted. Starting Sunday.

I don't think it will make a huge difference. I also like his attention to detail. Everyone that has heard his weekly game plans has said they are ridiculously thorough.

I think we'll get it together this game. We know this team is capable of high quality play...we had the Jets on the ropes, we beat a good Seahawks team, a good Titans team (on the road) and generally carried the play against Jacksonville. They're embarassed and they should be real focused on the task ahead. Despite their record, San Francisco is not a pushover, they've been in alot of close games, too, but I expect Denver to really respond this week with a crisp performance. They don't want to hear about it anymore, so they'll be motivated.
