You don't know much about football, do you?

The offense was ready to play against a good Jets defense. In fact, all the defenses we've played so far are pretty good. He mixed it up, and put in a balanced attack - I think this was his best coached game so far.

What is this mismanagement of the clock you speak of? I'm always somewhat of an armchair coach, and I don't think McD did anything differently that I wouldn't have done differently.

The only hiccup was passing to Gaffney for a 4 yard gain.

there's alot i'm mad about in this game, but i want to point out 3 things right now that are frustrating me as a fan:

1) Maroney still prefers to run east/west instead of north/south. and when he does run north/south, he slows up at the line to try a couple juke moves. you've got to hit the hole (even if it's a small one) at full speed. otherwsie you're going to get knocked backwards for 2-3 yards.

2) McD continues to call inside handoffs that not only don't gain yardage, but consistently lose yards. what's the point? this is stupid and stubborn and he needs to stop doing it. whether he's calling the plays or his OC is calling the plays... i don't care. they don't work and that's why the Broncos always end up in 3rd-and-8 or 3rd-and-11 situations.

3) WTF is going on with the playcalling when he puts Tebow in the game. is there anyone on the D who actually thinks it's going to be a pass? when they put Tebow in, everyone in the whole stadium knows that Tebow is going to run the ball off the snap. i give full credit to Tebow for whatever yards he gained, but seriously Josh???... is it against the rules to keep the D off balance and maybe call a pass once or twice?

a really disheartening loss.

the Broncos are 4-12 in their last 16 games.

this is getting old, quickly.

I wouldnt blame this loss on Orton alone.

The Jets were gifted a TD when they had crapped out on 4th and 6.

It was asking alot of any QB to pull together an 80-yard drive and score a TD with a minute 13 seconds left in the game. The great ones do that kind of thing and Orton, though he may be good, isnt a great one.

This was a frustrating loss because the officials basically gave it to the Jets. It was like an Obama bail out.

Very disappointing loss. Had a feeling the botched FG and missed FG would come back to haunt us. They always seem to.

That said, 2-4 is about what I expected at this point in the season, with (on paper) the toughest stretch of the season over. I thought SD would be 6-0 though, not 2-4. Division is wide open this year, and we've yet to play a division game yet ... until next week.

It was a bad way to lose after playing so good, Josh McDaniels won't let this team hang there heads after this loss they really showed something today that they build off of against a team that was #1 in rushing and #10 in defense and QB that coming in was red hot with no INTs, I think the Broncos played great and they got a much easier road ahead than the @Ravens and Vs Jets back to back. Oakland comes to Denver next week they need to make it a statement game and try to blowout Oakland.

I have no problem with the way McD called this game. I thought it was probably his best job of the season. The Broncos were undone by their own mistakes and lack of execution.

Literally the Broncos were in position to win twice. On 4th and 6, Hill was in a bad way and left an inkling of a chance for the ref to flag him. The ref did. Then Orton fumbled that snap. Two mistakes that cost the Broncos a win.

We played a ****ing GREAT game against the Jets. Our run game dramatically improved from the prior weeks against the 4th best rush defense in the league.

The same mother ****ers bitching now are the same mother ****ers that were crying, OH MY HOW ARE WE GONNA RUN IT AGAINST THE JETS, I'M SO SCARREDDD.

Dumb ****ing fans, this thread will be back.

I have no problems with MCD this game other than bringing in the Tebow formation on that FG drive (not the right time for it) and the constant fade routes.

On the subject of the pass interference, im sickened by it. This is not unique to this call, but too often refs put games into their hands. Yes, his finger got caught in his facemask for like half a second. No, he wasn't going to catch that ball. That just should not be called. We should have won that game. **** us.

And i agree, there are ZERO moral victories in the NFL. Horrible horrible loss.

That's ****ing nice. 9 players on the field was not good, nobody is denying that, but to ****ing make it a point as to how unprepared we were is absolute ludicrous.

We were 1 4th down and long from winning the ****ing game, so I guess Rex had his team unprepared too.

Dumb mother ****ers. We were unprepared is a ****ing cop out.

Never said anything about the way we played. 9 players is embarassing. McD finds way to lose. 4-12 since starting 6-0! Nuff said!

WoW Dude you really, really love Josh! Its okay buddy! The Broncos are 2-4 and find ways to lose all the time. I'm sure Josh is just giving the rest of the league a false sense of security. We're rolling rest of the season ...I'm with you ...GO JOSH!!!!!:loser:

It has nothing to do with Josh, it has to do with how we played and the comments here.

DO people remember what comments were flying around when we were losing with Shanahan here? It wasn't that we were unprepared.

It was that, this team had no HEART. That was the main ****ing cop out... this team has noo hearttttt. That's all I heard all day, and excuses for Jay Cutler.

Fans prove again they're just as ****ing stupid.

Everyone has a ****ing agenda, and are clearly biased with their past feelings of players and coaches.

****in **** head fans.

Hill shoulda knocked that ball down.

He was (and continues to be) lost when the ball's in the air.

Luckily for the Jets it was such a chitty pass.

Tebow was the surest thing on the roster for 3 yards.

The constant fade routes were an adjustment made by Orton to the blitz.

BTW this is NOT a moral victory as it was a game that was in our hands... this is a ****ing ****TY loss, but to go out and be an extremist and say we played like **** is far from ****ing reality.

When you're down by 3 scores ALL GAME and really have no chance of winning, that's when you PLAY ****TY and star blaming coaches etc.

But when you play in a game when you were winning for most of the game with a bunch of adversity during the game such as mis snaps and missed FG, and then get ****ed over by a PI penalty... you see a competitive game that was lost.

When you watch the Denver Broncos play a COMPETITIVE game against arguably the BEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE, that is not a ****ing UNPREPARED TEAM DUMB MOTHER ****ERS.

Sadly he was good enough to get a win. On the road. I guess Orton is a great QB, just don't look at the record.

He strikes me as the type who loses every argument at the bar, and wants to fight about it to force you to 'agree' with him. Those pansies always get their butts kicked.

The MVPlaya is the worst member of this site. i had to put him on ignore. all he wants to do is argue and berate. he can't even do that intelligently. it's all insults all the time from him.

i for one would like to see him permanently banned from the site.

he's surely violating the "spirit" of the site, even if he is avoiding breaking any rules.

he doesn't add anything of value and he's about the most obnoxious member currently posting here.

Yup. But what would all these crybabies have to b*tch about if Hill doesn't make that stupid, flukey mistake and we win the game? The game came down to that one damn play and everybody wants to bash Orton and McD and even Paxton.

Hmmm, I'm finding his postings to be entertaining in a train wreck kind of way, especially when he called others extremists.

I dont think Mark Sanchez was the reason the Jets won this game.

He certainly wasn't the reason they lost either. But who won the game? As long as Orton is protected and keeps everything safe, this team will be just like McDaniels, safe but no real threat for anything.

Poor officiating in this game. Really bad calls all day.

And naturally, being a Broncos fan that PI call was ****ing terrible. They both had a shot at the football. Having a finger in the facemask did not completely remove Holmes from a chance at the play. Ill timed call.

And another thing...the Jets act like bitches when calls or the game do not go their way. Pouting, yelling at refs and acting pissy because they have calls go against them.

**** the New York Jets. The better team lost today. **** them in their stupid hillbilly asses.

Just as Vlade Divac brought whining and flopping to the NBA (Doug Collins' words), Mark Sanchez is bringing whining and flopping to the NFL.

What the **** is your agenda? My point is Sanchez isn't very good. He looks lost anytime he has to go to his second read. He's got a nice quick released, accurate when its a one read play, but he has a way to go with the mental side of the game. He played poorly today and had that PI not been called, he'd have been one of the reasons they lost today.

Actually, I'm not sure why they blitzed so much.

Sanchez looked totally lost on most plays when they rushed 3 and flooded the passing areas.
