It's McDonald's. I won't eat it.

However, in my younger, fatter days, I did eat them every time they came back. They weren't great, and I'd much much rather have a non-pressed meat product BBQ sandwich, but... for a fat college kid, a McRib seemed like a great idea.

Pass on the McRibb. I gave up chicken nuggets because they look like the afterbirth of a litter of fairies when they are first processed. I gave up soda because the corn syrup is processed where mercury can be added while it is being refined. I gave up smoking because of carcinogens.

But if someone tries to take my ****ing beer I will drop them where they stand.

Yes, they're PhD's.

Theyre called 'organic chemists'.

And no, a chemist isnt the same thing as the burnout that you met at a Dead show in the 80's and still get your LSD from.

Yes, they're PhD's.

Theyre called 'organic chemists'.

Your organic chemists are probably also aware that ammonia, artificial flavorings, and colorings which are all added to the protein you speak of have an effect on the human body.

It's not about the protein source, genius, it's all the crap that's added to it in order to be palatable.

You're a complete ignoramus.

Carbon compounds are carbon compounds, doofus.

It doesnt matter where they come from, if they are synthesized and extracted safely it doesnt matter.

If ammonia is a reagent used in preparing a certain chemical that is used there, by the time its has reached equilibrium it is a different compound and all of the reagent is likely leeched off for use in other reactions.

Look. When you put two substrates together, they will interact based on the nature of the atoms in the compound. When they interact, they change into something else. That something else is called the product of their reaction. When things like ammonia and other raw chemicals are used in reaction, they are used to change something into something else. They arent dumped into the thing to remain there. They change the nature of what they were used to change.

The lysergic acid diethylamide that you ingest daily is also a carbon compound prepared with ammonia, but you dont even eat that for the protein.

Do you put a pickle or onion on your ribs? Do you let it sit under a heat lamp for hours and then nuke it for that special flavor?

Plus I get a frosty beverage and deep-fried potatoes, along with a Monopoly game piece.

Sorry, I really don't think you can compare to the amazing McRib.
