Who do ya like?

What will Moss do?

Will Peterson run wild in the rain?

Will the best corner in football be football ready?

Is Sanchez a bad weather player?

ScottXray

I hope this game ends 0-0 after OT and the Jets lose 20% of their starting D, (like we did yesterday), as well as some subs and maybe Sanchez for about 5 weeks. Don't particularly hate anyone , just want a chance to field even teams next next week and have a reasonable chance.

But I think the vikes go DOWN big time....due to TO's .

ScottXray

Rain could affect this game a lot.

Both sides will key on stopping the run even more. Probably more dropped passes.

Delayed to even later starting time....GOOD.

Maybe it will rain all night and they'll have to play the game tomorrow!
One less day for the Jets to recoup.

But he also wasted the prime years of Elway's career.

Indeed.

A lot of folks like to say Shanahan first brought the WCO to Denver.

It was actually Fassel.

Too bad the defense was absolute **** in 1993-94, but they were OLD.

Sure, by running the ball. And with the way this line's run-blocking, we may have to arm Maroney so he can start shooting NYJ defenders on the way to the end zone like on the last boyscout. :P

According to your chart Reeves was 535% lifetime. Not what you'd call good.

You said he's been bad wherever he's been.

He coached the Broncos to 6 division championships and 3 AFC Championships in 12 seasons.

He also took the Atlanta freakin Falcons to a Super Bowl.

I love the revisionist historians around here who talk like Reeves was some sort of dumbass hillbilly who nearly ruined John Elways career. They forget all the games when Elway played like absolute horse**** for 3.5 quarters while the defense kept them in the game, and then Elway turned it on at the end to seal the glory.

Reeves was a damn fine coach who put the Broncos in a position to win a lot of games, and I'm tired of people trashing him.

Settle down big fella ;D

I didn't like Reeves as the Bronco's coach I didn't like his ultra consertive game. I do think he wasted John's talent and another coach (Jos McD for example ) could have game planned in a way to make Elway almost unbeatable. He could do so many things. For this alone it's good enough for me to resent Reeves.

Alrighty then. I consider myself to be pretty objective and happened to see every game that Dan coached in Denver. I agree he was a fine coach. I also happened to move to Atlanta a few years before he was hired as head coach here. Missed most of his Giants years as I was active duty and out of the country for most of that time period. However, I will also say that Dan Reeves completely misused Elway for most of John's early years. It truly was "run left, run right, run up the middle, punt" (used to drive my Dad absolutely nuts) in most games until the fourth quarter when the reigns would finally come off and John would work his magic. Hence the number of fourth quarter comebacks. Dan was a much better/balanced coach by the time he had arrived here in Atlanta. He was also relying on his assistant coaches for more input than he ever did in Denver. He even admitted as much before we beat them in the Super Bowl. Lets keep a bit of perspective, OK? Great man, damned good coach, hamstrung Elway for years (especially the last few). I don't think he trusted John, or liked that style of game.

It is disgusting how the announcers give Favre all the credit in the world for bringing his team back into this game in the second half. Yet when he throws the back-breaking pick-6 and eventually loses, he's nothing but a "warrior", a "fighter", a "leader who just barely fell short", etc. Yeah, he brought his team back to make the game close, but he also gave the game away on a horrible pick-6!

Give credit where credit is due, but for the love of all that is holy, would an announcer just once please place blame where blame is due, just the same??
