So long as the offense isn't taking a big hit, I don't know that this changes the game THAT much. What - is the defense going to be worse against the Jets? We'll all miss the defense scrap that was going to be Jets-Broncos 2010.

Could have Jones play safety and bring in Squid in the slot also. Squid supposedly has been playing some safety in practice as well. Bruton could be in the equation, but I'm not sure they need him to be.

The Ayers injury is nothing as big in itself, but with Woodyard kinda sucks, if woodyard is healthy they could move Hagan back to OLB and rotate woodyard and Mays, but without both of them, I doubt that happens, and I could play olb better than Moss...and note to Hunter...if you are getting held don't just sit there and dance with the Ol that is holding you, make an effort to show the official that you are being held.

BTW, we can always start Ian Gold at saftey right? (I kid)

Put Orton in the shotgun, spread the field and run the spread. We will need to put up a ton of points. I remember a Monday night game years ago against the Bears who had won some ridiculous number of games in a row and Reeves just put Elway in the gun and he threw the ball all over the place. We won in a shootout. We stopped them on their last possession which was about the only stop all night.

Well , this sucks even more.
We can't run, can't rush the QB, and now we probably won't be able to
stop the run, and will be suspect in the secondary. I wonder at what point in the game these happened? I'd have to say that it was right after the 1st quarter, ( Mc Bath went down early in the first) cause after that the D couldn't get off the field, just like last year.
Have to hand it to the guys that probably finished the game playing hurt, and maybe made things worse.

Looks like this is just not the year we are going to do much.

Hopefully McD can at least keep games close with the pass game, and maybe win a few shootouts, cause EVERYBODY is gonna light us up.

It is a sad day to be a Bronco fan. :drown::flush::moody::cuss:

I hope McD shows he has some stuff , cause he is going to have to pull
