View Full Version : Ravens aren't afraid of Broncos' overrated passing attack

Denver runs a West Coast offense, one predicated on short passes that are almost like running plays. The Broncos like to use a lot of play-action, but once the Ravens shut down Denver's running game, ranked last in the league, play-action becomes meaningless.

It's not as if Denver's passing game is complicated. They like to run a lot of screens, slants, hitches and other quick passes to receivers Eddie Royal and Demaryius Thomas, with Brandon Lloyd as the homerun hitter.

It's a pea-shooter offense.

Someone should let the writer know research is an integral part of any form of journalism.

They have no reason to respect Denver they remember last year when we came in there 6-0 full of more hype than this Orton thing and rolled over and died... it's just like does anyone here have any respect for........ the Seahawks for example?

True... Last year they came into Baltimore's hose and got their faces caved in. Hope this time Denver can return the favor & shut the critics up

West Coast Offense?

We're closer to a spread offense tbh. Perhaps there are some elements of West Coast, but whatever, very poor article.

That really irks me also, why do so many in the media hate our team? That really makes me mad.

The funny thing is every team's fans thinks the media hates their team.

Whatever they better be afraid, we have more weapons than they have quality backs to cover. For real.

I'm insulted by that article for many obvious reasons.

West Coast offense? If you going to talk **** at least get it right.

He's just mad because the Raven's offense is ranked 22nd and ours is 4th. So if our offense is a "pea shooter", what's theirs? A squirt gun ROFL!

Ravens and their beat writers act like they've already won this game. Surest way to get beat is to under estimate an opponent.

This is unless they've already identified something we don't already know.

McD can beat Baltimore with a D Thomas sneak attack.

It's time to unleash the rookie.

Send Thomas deep coach. He has the speed to get behind then Ravens defense.

Burn 'em BIG D!

Two of three deep TDs will win the game.
