Jim Mora completely destroys Doug Gottlieb and his asinine questions on-air. Hilarious.

lol
Mora lost his cool. Gottlieb was on Al DMac and Schlereth's show after this and they all ripped Mora.

Mora did lose his cool, but I also think Gottlieb's questions were moronic. I mean, how should people feel? Come on.

Stupid questions, I wish Mora would have just said FYNQ.

I listened to the show and when the interview was over Gottlieb said he was going to take the high road and not comment on the outcome. But he soon changed his tune with the followup guests and ESPN announcers.
Mora over reacted but the questions were just dumb.

I agree Mora had a bad day, but asking how people "should" feel? And then saying "you were a coach" as though that means he can say how people should feel? That was the stupidest question ever.

Jerk off was trying to make headlines by trying to make Mora say something about Vick's work ethic so it could be spun into "Vick cost me my job" - Mora.

**** him and **** the "broadcasters" like him.

Not to mention, Vick has had 2 good games against the LIONS AND JAGUARS this season, compared to his entire body of work in Atlanta. He was revolutionary in Atlanta, did it over multiple FULL seasons, led his team to the playoffs, rushed for a bazillion yards, and you're trying to compare THAT production to 2 games against 2 of the worst defenses in the national football league?

Sports radio would be alot easier to listen to if guests regularly called these guys out for their goobrishness.

Doug Gottlieb is just another ESPN (cheap) radio fill in and a bad one at that. I Miss the days of Patrick and Kornheiser on ESPN radio.

Mora Jr. sounds burnt out with football.

Mora probably could have handled himself better, but some of Gottlieb's questions were completely moronic and sounded like questions someone "doing their first interview" would ask.

These guys are both douches ... Seen this Friday and didn't think it was worth a thread lol.

But Jimmy Jr. basically killed any chance he had of being a head coach again with one interview LOL ...

What was funnest was after Mora was gone Wingo and Stink made fun of him in the next segment ...

I don't think that interview sounded all that different than most interviews I hear on sports talk radio. Mora came off as kind of a douche.

Well yea that, and the fact that the guy basically took a cheap shot at him by saying if he could've got more out of Vick he'd probably still be coaching in this league. I think that was pretty low, and the interview really went south after that. I think Mora is right though, it's not like Vick is an amputee or was bagging groceries like Kurt Warner then all of a sudden he learned how to play football. The dude was a bonafide superstar in the league before he went to prison, he saved a few years of wear on his legs by being in there, he got an EXTRA year to sit behind a phenomenal quarterback and now he's playing solid ball. Is it really that huge of a surprise? We all knew at some point that Michael would get another shot as a starting job, whether it be in Philly or somewhere else. Having said that, he has completed TWO full games against the lowly Lion and Jaguars, let's not jump the gun.

You don't think Gottlieb's questioning was winding him up at all? Holy crap. He was trying to get Mora to talk **** about Vick.

He was basically asking Mora "did Vick cost you your job in ATL?" when Vick had 2 pro bowl seasons out of the 3 that Mora was the coach there. Gottlieb's a ****ing idiot and doesn't know what he's talking about.

That was the radio equivalent of one guy sucker punching the other and then getting upset when he gets kicked in the jimmy.

That in itself says a lot about sports radio.

The only thing he destroyed was his own reputation. If you're an NFL coach, especially a head coach, you ought to be used to getting dumb questions from the media. There's no excuse for cursing and losing your control on the public airwaves just because someone asks you a question you don't care to answer. It's clear he lost his cool when the guy brought his coaching experience with the Falcons into the discussion. He should have tactfully answered it and moved on. He seems like a hothead and a real ass...not impressed with what I saw of him here. I'm waiting for the football argument. Meanwhile...I wish someone would look at Joel Collier and see if he wants to get out of KC and return to Denver where it all started for him.

I can see both sides of the argument.....I agree that he lost his cool and should be used to getting dumb questions with his experience being a coach....but Gottlieb was an idiot and asked dumb questions.....should have been more prepared for the interview

Why not? Both of the last two regimes liked to scapegoat the DC every year.
