anyone have any news. Hate to be the skeptic but it didn't look good. Don't be surprised if he misses time with an elbow dislocation/lig damage. That's my diagnosis anyways

From my very limited observation and sitting on my couch in my living room to me and only me it looked like it had the possibility to maybe be a broken wrist, but in no way, shape or form do I have any clue as to what was really wrong.....

He landed awkwardly on his wrist.

No word if any McDonalds wrappers were on the field.

Would not surprise me. For all the injury luck we had last year we are having no luck this year.

broken wrist

I haven't seen that anywhere. Last I read, the Broncos reporters were tweeting that he was "walking it off".

I'm betting it's a stringer.

I couldn't tell if it bent up or down.

I only caught the replays from the back view.

broken wrist

Really hope you're wrong...

If we were going to lose someone in a position I'd be fine with a WR though. Decker and Willis right behind.

I hope he's ok. We have good depth anyway at WR but I'd hate to lose him for any extended period of time.

he was in between two seattle defenders colliding

BroncoDoug

I have no clue what his injury is, from all the replays I saw was his wrist bending very awkwardly and he was favoring it immediately... I hope it was just a quick sharp pain and he is good to go. I am by no means a doctor.

He landed on the back of his hand. All his momentum went right on his wrist. His arm just buckled. It could be broken wrist, arm, or dislocated elbow, from the replays I saw. Didn't look good. :(

i thought it looked like he broke his arm or had some kind of elbow injury. I hope he's not hurt to bad. He looked very fast out there today.

We still have lloyd and gaffney. We will be ok. I just hope he wont miss a lot of action.

if you post "broken arm" like you know it as a fact then you sound like you have a source. I think Dag meant you needed to write "I think it is a broken arm from what I saw".....sounds less factual.

I thought it was a separated shoulder by the way he was holding it when he got up.

Demaryius Thomas appeared to hurt his left arm; Spencer Larsen hurt his ankle. No updates beyond that. RT @IronClady78 (http://twitter.com/IronClady78): Any injury updates?

PostBroncos (http://twitter.com/PostBroncos)
Looked like left hand or wrist. He was in training room postgame RT @robcerame (http://twitter.com/robcerame): Any word on the injury to Demaryius???

Per Rotoworld:

Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post confirms that Demaryius Thomas' forearm/elbow injury is not serious.

It sounds like the rookie will practice this week. Thomas had his elbow wrapped in ice Monday, but has no broken bones.

Whew.....we already knew the x-ray was negative.....I just like hearing "not serious".....I was pessimistically concerned that there might be ligament tears.....

I was worried that he may have broke a wrist... seriously, I had visions of Hillis' hammy running through my head.

On the reply when it happened and jsut now rewatching it you can see his elbow was mildly hyperextended backwards when his full weight came crashing down on it awkwardly from that height. looks like we dodged a big bullet. This kid is gonna light it up as he continues to get the feel of Orton and vice versa.

They've had so little time working together as it is ...can imagine next year with this full seaon and next offseason under his belt!

If its not serious, thats welcomed good news for a change. Glad to hear that.

I'm thinking if it was a major injury, we would have heard something by now.

So, hopefully no news is good... or at least not horrible news.

I just heard on the light rail that before the draft the Human torch contacted Josh McDaniels to let him know that Demarius Thomas is acctualy Mr. Fantastic. Upon hearing this news Josh began manunvering in the draft so he could select both Mr. Fantastic and the son of God in the same draft.

I could have sworn his arm was bent backwards. It's absolutly amazing hes ok. So much for Bey Bey not being a tough kid...F the haters.

Another update per Rotoworld:

"It turns out Demaryius Thomas didn't even need X-rays on his forearm/elbow injury.

Coach Josh McDaniels had previously indicated that the X-ray came back negative, but it sounds like Thomas didn't even have one. "I was going to, but then it cleared up," Thomas said. It sounds like this won't be an issue going forward.

Even better news.......sure is a far cry from the "broken wrist" rumors started around here.........

bad ass. He is raw still, but shows brilliance. I love our WR corp (Royal, Gaff, Lloyd, and DT) Not sure where Decker is gonna fit in however.

Decker will learn the ropes for a year or two and then take over for Gaff when he retires. Possession type receiver. Willis will be our forth going forward I'm sure. So you'll most likely end up with DT #1, Decker #2, Eddie Royal #3 and Willis filling in as need be. Very good receiving corps even 3 or 4 years down the road.

I have to say, it gives me such a good feeling to know that we have an AWESOME receiving corp. When Marshall left, I wasn't too sure how this was going to turn out. It's looking pretty darn good right now.
