Any games worth watching? What are people watching out there?

I'm on the Cinci game early because there's money involved and I expect a beatdown.

Late game, I'll probably watch the Broncos - finally!

Dallas Houston

Hoping to see Dallas lose but skeptical.

Steelers-Bucs COULD be a good game. Actually, the whole day is filled with crappy games. If I wasn't a Broncos homer and optimist, I would include our game in that mix. The Monday night game should be good...

_Oro_

Yeah not a lot of good games. I'm thinking Dal Hou is good because Houston is fun to watch. Given their awesome D-line and of course Kubes offense. Also I'm curious about
SF KC. Its at home so they have a good chance to beat SF. That being said I don't think SF is going to go down 0-3 without a huge fight.

Their run game is looking pretty good. Mostly because Charles can go the distance anytime he touches the ball while TJones pounds out the 3-4 yard gains.

I think they will be playing alot of close games this year with that running game

The rookie TE looks good as well. Nice draft class this year for KC

Moreno is not playing, unless something changed in the last 24 hours and his hamstring healed.

And to reiterate in a way even you can understand...despite Hillis' super human effort, the Browns are still losing.

At the half Hillis has 12 carries, 73 yards and 1 TD. He has over 100 yards when you include his receiving yards. On the Browns last drive before the half Hillis had a great run. When he made contact with the DB in the secondary he carried him about 7 yards.

Interesting thought. If Hillis is generic but has more rushing yds than Moreno this year, what does that make Knowshon who was drafted 12th overall, 6 rounds ahead of Peyton?

Ponder on that one for awhile.

Funny how that happens sometimes. Even on the early games thread. I thought it was okay to compliment former broncos players here, just as long as we don't dare think about starting a thread for it?

Here's my take. Players enter the coaches doghouse in the NFL for whatever reason and usually its one way. Shanny, McD and almost every coach in the NFL is the same way. It sucks to see your player as a fan in the doghouse and eventually shipped off but it happens. If you want to argue the coach should keep the player based on his future production that's fine. But the bottom line is usually we don't know what got them in the dog house. Sometimes coaches gotta ship off players just to make sure the rest of the team knows that they're top dog. And the point is EVERY coach does this.

The Browns have yet to score any second half points. I would love it if they beat Baltimore, but the odds are not good even with Hillis having a good day. When I had the game on earlier, he had more touches than rest of the team combined. He seems to be in the middle of getting promoted to the lead HB role.

It'll be interesting to see if he can keep his fumble issues under control as a starter.
