Can someone explain how the reputation points work?
Or else where on the site they are explained?

At the bottom of every post, there's a button with a check mark (I think it's the second one from the left). Clicking on that opens a window where you can give "rep"... positive if you agree with the post; negative if you disagree with it.

Each orange square means 100 positive rep points. Hope that helps, BBM! ^5

BritBronco Maniac
04-13-2004, 03:56 PM
Thanks for that, is there any limit to the number of reps you can dish out?

Blueflame
04-13-2004, 04:10 PM
Thanks for that, is there any limit to the number of reps you can dish out?

As far as I know, there's no limit... but you can't just give rep to one poster; you have to give it to others before repping someone a second time.

Pezman
04-13-2004, 04:13 PM

“My Resignation...”
Author Unknown

I am hereby officially tendering my
resignation as an adult. I have decided
I would like to accept the responsibilities
of an 8 year-old.

I want to go to McDonald's and
think that it's a four star restaurant.

I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud
puddle and make a sidewalk with rocks.

I want to think M&Ms are better than money because you can eat them.

I want to lie under a big oak tree and run a lemonade stand with my friends on a hot summer's
day.

I want to return to a time when life was simple; When all you knew were colors, multiplication
tables, and nursery rhymes, but that didn't bother you, because you didn't know what you didn't
know and you didn't care.

All you knew was to be happy because you were blissfully unaware of all the things that should
make you worried or upset.

I want to think the world is fair. That everyone is honest and good.

I want to believe that anything is possible. I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life
and be overly excited by the little things again.

I want to live simple again. I don't want my day to consist of computer crashes, mountains of
paperwork, depressing news, how to survive more days in the month than there is money in the
bank, doctor bills, gossip, illness, and loss of loved ones.

I want to believe in the power of smiles, hugs, a kind word, truth, justice, peace, dreams, the
imagination, mankind, and making angels in the snow.

So... here's my checkbook and my car-keys, my credit card bills and my 401K statements. I am
officially resigning from adulthood.

And if you want to discuss this further, you'll have to catch me first,
cause........ ......"Tag! You're it."

Go and have fun this weekend!!!!

Does this mean that fantasizing about you now constitutes child molestation? ??? Nnyah!

May I humbly inquire as to the title of this tread? What does "Neck Pony Nation" mean, anyway?

The name started on the old DPO board... originally started as an insult by a Fadefan (kind of a combination of "redneck" and "pony fan"), the term was embraced with pride by Broncos fans, resulting in a mega-thread of epic proportions on that board. Since a lot of OM'ers came here from the DPO, the tradition continues here and mojo demands that the Neck Pony thread be kept bumped onto Page 1.

ill explain it as it was explained to me.
the neck pony is the bronco logo. i guess that an opposing fan used to use the term on denver post online's forum and broncos fans adopted it as a good thing, thus the neck pony nation (broncos fans) was born. i am told it is good luck to keep the thread on the first few pages. so if you feel the need for some good bronco luck bump it up!!!!

I joke about Mrs Dog not working, and in all honestly her decision to stay home with the kid has grated on me since the kid entered 2nd grade (and 3rd last year) because we are blessed with a really good after school program. Last year my wife agreed she was not adding anything by not working, though she got enough volunteer crap done to last a lifetime, and having hemmed and hawed about part time finally figured out no one wants to hire a part time worker whose a mommy.

Anyway, she got a job offer, finally - getting BACK in the workforce is not easy - accepted it, only to have her prospective boss die a week later. (Imagine the guy's family's annoyance, not to mention ours) Then, Sunday, she's checking out a house that's for sale, falls in a hole and dislocates her kneecap ... on a knee she blew skiing back in the 70's. The Doc thinks she'll be OK in a couple of weeks without surgery, thank heavens. Nothing compared to Falconer's life, but jeez this is interesting.

I think I've corrupted my poor daughter cause Mrs Dog got back from the docs yesterday afternoon and said she'd have to have physcical therapy for 2-3 weeks at least, and the Kid says "aw jeez, how much will this cost; I guess I should just kiss goodbye to any chance of me ever getting a horse"

Mrs Dog got her knee drained, and as the swelling subsides the knee cap is "rotating" back. She's got a lot of pain, but fortunately the MY insurance covers her 100% for accidents, although the presciption coverage sucks on non-generics. She tossed and turned so much last night though that I guess I'll have to get her prescrip for darvocet filled.

Another MRI tomorrow to rule out cartiledge / bone damage. I'll be surprised if she doesn't have to have some cartiledge scoped. Just thankful it wasnt' the ACL

Well since were on the topic of injuries I just had surgery on my foot...I had a bone tummer in my right second toe. The post op dident hurt but the doc wraped the Gauze so tight that it started brusing my foot and cutting of serculation. The first few days I thought it was just normal pain and poped some more coden pills then I just decided to cut it and descovered a bruise an inch wide about half the length of my foot...Sorry for the randomness I just wanted to keep the thread up and alive...we need the luck!

This weekend a friend of ours had such a party. Unfortunately before hand I got drunk and somehow my wife managed to talk me into being the ho. I didn't remember much the next day except that I woke up with clothing I would never wear and lipstick on.

Just watched the induction ceremony. The only speach I didn't care for that much was Bob Brown's son's speach, sounded like a summation in court, he was smiling way too much, and it seamed like he was trying to kiss Canton Ohio's collective ass. I thought Jenny and John's speaches were the most moving. I really appreciated Bob Brown's and John's pleas for the NFL to recognise other deserving players who have so far been snuffed by the HoF commitee, although I kinda frown on Madden being included in that list :~ohyah!: Nyah!
